My name's Paige and I am in my third year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

When course I've applied for didn't open, I decided to repeat my third year on Computer Science. I'm not as positive as I could be but it's okay and I actually can learn something again (but still want to take Physics course someday).

As you passed kings chapel it brought back memories when I came over this summer from India to visit my partner working at Addenbrookes who is also a supervisor at Jesus and Christ college. I remember we would buy Benetts ice cream in the noon and sit out side along the wall of kings chapel enjoying the afternoon
We all have an ‘expensive’ food/drink item that we have to have compared to more economical brands (and in the grand scheme of things, £5 on honey you enjoy isn’t that extortionate!). Mine’s ‘expensive’ instant coffee. Anything below £4 ish makes me gag. I blame my mother!
Wish we had that rain here. There is so much smoke from the bushfires here in Sydney, it's literally difficult to breathe. Also, good luck with the quantum mechanics. ❤️

Lmao my week looked like this so far:
Monday and Tuesday was school. Two of my exams got cancelled AFTER I studied for them. Don't you just love that? We also had a talk about dress code with the most rude woman ever. She literally came up to a bigger girl and went "I used to look like you."
Wednesday our class went to see the "superior court" and we had to travel by train. At that point I was so sick I had a cough fit in the middle of our lecture about the court.
Yesterday and today I was home in bed feeling so poopy, but that's life.
Definitely not as busy and not as productive as you 😂

I am done with exams now (still have 2 lab exams ) and the new semester starts soon so I've been trying to be productive your vlog really helps me cuz our uni give us 10 day break after every final exam , that really sucks, no summer break, no winter break ,no monsoon break ,no nothing can't wait to get done with this uni

Enjoyed the vlog - ups and downs of Uni life that feeling a little bit of 'imposter syndrome' or 'I cant do this' when you encounter tough material.
Wonder if you could post up say one of your lecture outlines (notes from Uni - if their copyright allows of course) and your notes and the question problems to get an idea of what you deal with.

I love the Haddon library (archaeology library) which is on downing site! Always quiet and the tables have lots of space to spread out work 👌
Only saw a couple of your videos recently. You are really admirable, genuine hard working, young person. So glad i found you. You motivate all of us and you're a cool kid. I think you bring back good memories of my school days. LOL. BTW physics/mechanics is so difficult( for me now...forgot a lot) but at the end you start to see and understand the universe/life/people in amazing different ways, so it will definitely be worth it.

Just listening to some chilled pop music!
I tend just to put a playlist I've made on UA-cam of music I like - I feel like it helps me relax and makes me happy when I listen to certain songs and also it helps me remember as I associate songs with different revision topics !
I like to listen to classical music while studying! Would really recommend
Corinna Nittmann Same, mostly Bach or Beethoven. For me it’s easier to focus while listening to that music. My favourite pop music is mostly distracting me from work.
You remind us that student life is not all about study, study and study in Cambridge as people normally expect.

I’ve got an interview at Jesus on Wednesday and Thursday and am very nervous!! I’ve been given so much advice but a little nugget of advice would go a long way!
I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but remember to think out loud! And just try to enjoy it (I know it’s easy for me to say but it is such a great opportunity to have a chat with some academics and learn something new!)

I'm supposed to be writing a lab report for Experimental Physics (the bane of my existence), but keep having panic attacks so I'm watching this to calm me down and it seems to be helping.
I hope you did calm down. I was nervous today and it's so annoying because I can't do anything when I am like this
@@MsRosirosi it's so aggrivating to not be able to do the work that's making you stressed because you're too stressed isn't it? I ended up calming down after a long break and finished my report on time, I hope you ended up calming down too! I always need to remind myself that it's better to take a break than to continue working if I'm not able to do anything because of panicking/crying.
