- It's happening AGAIN!! Monster Hunter Wilds has a new trailer revealed showing off 2 brand new monsters and even more new gameplay, could this be the best next instalment of Monster Hunter? Monster Hunter 6, which was officially announced at the Game Awards just revealed the new 2nd trailer for the game including loads more for us to check out! Have you guys noticed how there are so many big monsters hunting in packs!? Used to be just two or three big monsters at most, but now we're getting whole groups of em.
I'm hoping that means it'll be at least a little easier to take down individual monsters, if they're gonna be in large groups like this.
@@crowravencorvenrowthey arent all in big groups and only certain monsters can appear in groups at all.

The description for this second trailer on UA-cam says "in this vast, seamless land". I'm not sure if this would imply open world, I know people are still going back and forth on that.
So happy to hear him say that the game will launch simultaneously on all platforms. What a relief!

@@mikegibbs7020 Probably won't be cross save because most people aren't going to want to buy the game on multiple platforms, especially since they won't have too in order to play with their friends anymore.
Sunbreak dlc is released simultaneously, so downgrade to the old "console first, pc later" would probably bring them many critics

I hope the full game doesnt over do the chase/escape sequences. Both trailers have each featured chase/escapes. I understand its a new mechanic and they wanna show it off but like batman arkham knights batmobile you dont want too much of it

You can attack on the mount, but it seems like a one hit attack that you can't combo, so it seems weak but it's there
@@SchradeDemise that's fine, something basic is alright. We can already dodge on the mount. Combos might make it TOO useful lol.

When I had freedom unite my friends gave me his cat “Kezu” who could one shot most bosses and 3 shot rathian. I’m not sure if he hacked that in or if you could make them that good, but I hope the mounted animals can help you in battle similar how cats used to
Yeah that was a famous hack back then on psp. Haha there were alot of hacks back then , i used that one where you can go outside of the map or reach unreachable places.

What weapon does that male hunter have at the start? It looks like a small straight spear kinda. Too short to be an IG but too straight to be a bow?
Kinda looks like there's a bow later on though, I'm not sure. Maybe a riding crop?

the more i watch this trailer the more i think at 3:26 when there running away the large thing on the right is moving with them. it doesnt look like rocks and doesnt look like its static.

It's confirmed on the website! You can have a second weapon on your mount and can switch between Them while riding

It is not. It’s the regular wyvern skeleton.
Nah this one doesn’t have wingarms. People just see the horns and immediately assume gore or shaggy

Monsters in the village? I wonder if thats cutscenes only, or if youl actually be able to fight in the village, using structures for cover. Or perhaps lead it to another location entirely(they bringing back rampages?)

Looks like theres no disvantages in hunting riding.
After all, why i would use a HBG or a Lance/Gunlance on the ground when i can have all that mobility?

@@werecoth I think they will reduce damage on mouted attacks. And that will be a cheap way to force us on the ground. Whatever it is i hope i don't hate so much as i hate the CClaw
Hope that npc hunters armor is obtainable for players. I like it!
100% flying wyvern because it has 4 limbs (2wings and 2 legs), while *winged* elder dragons have 6 (2wings, 2 legs + 2 arms) and it can walk on the sand like astalos/tigrex/nargacuga/barioth

I added *winged* to clarify more that all winged elder dragons have 6 limbs, since there are other elders with 4 limbs or 0 such as lao shan lung or dalamadur

Or a Flying Wyvern with more than 2 legs and 2 wings? I can’t remember any. So yeah saying it isn’t an elder dragon is more data based than saying it is one. Even if it will become one wich we don’t know it’s the first elder dragon wich is a Wyvern wich makes Name wise no sense at all.

I hope the game have the mobility with wire bug of MH rise. Don't wanna go back to the slow sluggish like world was. and i hope they bring back the stylish mounting monster system while you stab it to knock it on wall from MH world. The mounting monster system in MH rise was bad and annoying there's was always that guy who run all the way across the map with the damn monster very annoying. The decoration system better be like rise when u can choose whatever u want not limited like world.
