Ooh the officient one was gooood- I've been to one where it was obvious they never really met the couple, and you don't want that awkwardness to hit your guests, you want a feeling of family and togetherness.
I’m not religious but I am doing a catholic wedding. I personally chose to do that because Catholicism is super strict about everything. Unlike other sects of Christianity, Catholics won’t recognize you as married if you don’t do it in a Catholic Church. Even though I am not religious, I would rather not have to jump through hoops should I decide to go back to my roots again. Also, it is SUPER nostalgic for me to get married in the same church I grew up in and had my other sacraments in. It’s like coming full circle.
I love the time capsule idea! A variation on the idea. You can also ask your guests to either write a note or bring something to put into your time capsule. This will be a great Covid activity as people could just drop it off in the capsule and you don’t open it for a year or five.

Oh! Thank you so much. I really LOVE circle seating too and can't wait to do it at our wedding! I hope it works well for you! (...and thank you so much for watching this video! This was a couple of months ago and I promise I'm trying to get better at filming! haha!)
