Was wearing this watch all day today . One of my most worn. The strap softens up nicely and makes it even more comfortable in a short time. I love the three eyes on it.
I have a white variant with a negative lcd display. I like the three eye design and the backlight.I wear it quite a lot, i have it on my wrist right now!.
I just purchased this watch about a week ago just waiting for it to come in.... looks pretty cool and we will see how it measures up to my favorite G-Shock or Casio for that matter which is the GD 350.... I had to get this one though for my collection because it looks pretty cool
Glad you’ve purchased the DW-6900, hell of a watch and pretty affordable as far as G-Shocks go. I love mine and wear it quite alot. Super tough and looks awesome. Thanks for watching mate. 👍🏻
@@The-Casio-Man .... on a sidenote, I actually purchased this based on your review, so if I don't like it, I will send you the bill 🤣🤣🤣... just kidding, of course... great review, and it did inspire me to get this, but I already had seen it and love the look of it and judging by past experiences with my other Cassio, I know I'm going to love this... who knows it might even take over as my favorite but it's got stiff competition with my GD 350
I just came across your channel whilst searching for reviews on this watch, great video and good luck with the channel. I am fellow collector/G-shock modder I mainly mod the Casio GA-2100 (CasiOak) which I sell and have done for several years.
Great to hear you’ve found the channel, really appreciate you watching the vid. The channel is in its early stages but loving it so far. Would love to get something modded one day. Thanks for watching.
Had one back in the 90s as a gift . To be honest, I didn't like it back then ! But now I think it's cool,so I, too, I bought one for £50 from Amazon US .
I'm wearing my GW-6900 NASA 2024 edition, but I still kinda want one of these DW-6900. Even though my GW is just as tough as the DW, I don't want to be too rough on it because it's limited-edition. The 6900 line is very stunning.
@@Ricelord4 wow, that’s a pretty special watch and yes you should be guarding that baby 👍🏻. Maybe get the DW just as an all day wearer and the GW for special occasions. 😁
@@The-Casio-Man That's the plan! I'll keep the NASA watch in the watch box to guard it, but I'll have a DW of some kind as a daily beater - whether it's my old 9052 or a new 6900.
I have lots of 6900s. I think there are more collabs and special/limited editions than any other G-Shock by far. The X6900 is nice too but is larger. Have you seen the 40th anniversary 'Ninja' version? It is lovely. Overall the 6900 and the Mudmaster are my favourite product ranges. I think I have, including X6900s, around 30.
Hi Ian. I knew there was a few collaborations but until just a minute ago had no idea about the ninja, wow, what a cool looking watch. I like the white slash through it like a ninja has taken a swipe. I’ve been looking at mudmasters recently, so many to choose from! What’s your g-shock collection count at?
Funny story: I bought the dw6900 ls blue skeleton, and the first day I got it I dropped it and the buckle came off, I guess the fall hit it exactly where it needed to unhook, but been wearing it ever since everyday for the past 5 years, no problems.
I didn’t find much sense in the three “eyes”, and found it a bit bulky… until I got mine and put it on my wrist. Have many Gs but this one by now spends the most of the time with me. Beautiful watch, nice feel, and amazing look, it has everything without the need of complex functions.
I personally love the addition of the triple dial, I think they make the watch look more sporty and busy. It’s probably my favourite G-Shock now. How many do you own mate?
In the "6900 family" , have this DW6900, a GW6900, and a DW6600. I also have several other Gs, but lately I felt in love with this simple three-eyed guy.
@@maiquelbalbueno2865 yes spot on, trying to buy one now since the American Sniper movie release about Kyle is near impossible for a reasonable price...much sought after model and hard to get a good that isnt silly money

It’s a great all day wearer this one and the strap definitely becomes more supple after a few days of use. I love the size and look of this watch. 👌🏻

@@Bigsky1886 sad you lost it, maybe time to re-purchase it I think 🤔 👍🏻😁
I would choose this version over the multi-band 6/solar for the looks alone. The colors on this watch are amazing. That red G-shock logo is 🔥.
