I fucking hate the raiders but it’s impossible to dislike Maxx Crosby. He’s such a beast on the field and it’s so fun to watch him do his thing and just physically and mentally wreck guys. I love how Crosby and Mahomes bring the best out of eachother on the field and have so much respect for eachother. It’s a bummer for him that he’s not likely to get to a super bowl or even the afc championship game but he’ll definitely be remembered thanks to Mahomes always giving him props. Obviously it’s more than deserved because of how great he is but I just mean that Mahomes will go down in history as one of if not the greatest football players of all time so being the player that he hates going up against the most basically ensures Crosby’s legacy. It’s strange how sometimes players legacies are decided more by their proximity to greatness or how they measure up when competing against greatness. If Crosby was on a team like the chiefs he’d be a future first ballot hall of famer by now. Especially with the defense we have now. Everyone says he embodies what it means to be a raider but I think dude would’ve made a great chief. Dude has the same kinda mentality as Mahomes… it’s why Mahomes hates playing him lol. Jamar Chase is who I think embodies what it means to be a raider… a bitter asshole that cared more this year about talking shit and antagonizing the chiefs than actually trying to win which is a shame because he’s actually a great player but it’s hard to show it when you’ve pissed off one of the best corners in the league that can lock his ass down
