This man is so underrated even during his time. I wish the younger generation could hear his songs.

I always thought that Aaron Neville's voice has never been utilized to it's full potential. It's difficult to describe what I mean by that. But I guess I wish he did more songs like Crazy Love. I enjoyed his gospel song album quite a bit.
He often brings something so unique to the covers he sings that it makes the songs completely new. He makes songs his, even afer I hear the originals many times previous. This is no small feat.
I think he's one of the top 5 novel and creative singers of the world, ever. Listening to him closely really goes straight to your soul. His voice demands a stillness from you. I can't even think of any equal in the completely uniquely, heart melting category of voices.

Remembering the Winter Formal on Canal Street in New Orleans 1966, a group of 16 yr olds from Catholic school, all dressed up and listening to this voice all night long. Can you imagine we had no idea that Aaron would belong to someone else other than us New Orleans kids? We just Loved this guy. He IS our city.
I feel that way about Motown! Grew up listening to it on CKLW radio and I literally didn't realize everybody in the whole country was listening too.
This was my Mother's favorite Song, We would sit around the friends and sing this song together! I am still old School. Thanks Aaron !
