Great humanitarian. I once bought a 3CD set from our public radio saying as a gay woman Tony Bennett would be the only person I’d consider switching sides for. They asked is they could read it on air and did. Sounded even funnier. What a wonderful man 💕💐
I was fortunate to see Tony Bennett years ago in concert with Diana Krall, at the Hollywood Bowi, to a packed house! What a special evening under the stars!
It was one of my favorite concerts, and his legacy will live on forever in music.

To your latina co host for her information Tony Bennett has always been famous all over the world. I saw him in the late sixties in New York and Miami and many more times!! The duets he sang were with many but many artists around the world not only with latin singers!! He will be immensely missed!!
Wow...Mr. Bennett 😔 I'm a 43 y/o black man and I loved his music. My Grandmother would play a lot of classics and his voice was always one of the smoothest.
Legendary doesn't do him justice. Another one of our American treasures gone, but definitely will never be forgotten.
I remember being about 12 or 13 and him performing in my school gym at for the Christmas holiday. Our was dedicated to Scott and Todd in the morning, wplj. They put on their Christmas special in our gym every year and every year Tony Bennett would come and perform for us. He was such a nice man.
It seems we'd heard from him not all that long ago and here we are learning the news of his passing.

Such a really nice guy. I used to work next door to his home/office building on West 57th St. He always spoke and shook my hand when I would say "Hi, Mr. Bennett".
He also sang a duet with Vincente Fernandez.

I always thought Barbra was the brain trust behind the View, guess it was a man all along.
She absolutely was. She always gave credit to Bill Geddie for being her partner. That takes nothing away from Barbara. But what does that have to do with Tony Bennett?

She looked like she was on the verge of tears. She probably was mad that they didn't show more of his performance.
