Me too! I literally thought "ooh. pause. let's get a snack and rehouse with Petko!" I'm always a nervous wreck rehousing my own tarantulas, but watching Petko is so smooth.
Hi, I'm the Logan who made the signs! I love the regular assassin bugs and was hoping "The Dark Den" one could go into that one next to the den on the right side of the enclosure! As for the Feisty sign, was hoping for it to go into a feisty tarantula one and the Go Away(Thanks) to go into the gecko(?) enclosure since he is so unsocial! Thanks!
Im so glad you upload on mondays (get rid of monday blues), wednesdays (a life line to keep pushing through the week) and fridays (to welcome the weekend)....
Your camera stops because it is supposed to be used for photographing first and not really for video recording,so when it overheats at around 20-25 mins it stops. DSLRs are designed to be like that, my Sony A58 does the same and it gave me serious headaches too when I found out at some times that half of my work got lost (which was already painted, so no re-recording for me :'D) Very nerving, the thing I used to do was that to see how much the camera actually records and I always set an alarm timer on my phone, usually set it for 20 minutes, 21 was usually the least it recorded but of course it never was the same amount. Hope it helps a bit. :) Also, awesome video again!!! So hope I can meet you at a Terraplaza once, or maybe visit you in Croatia when your place got set up. You really make me miss this hobby and wanting my collection back!
No no, these cameras are more video oriented. It's just the design, it stops on 29:59. You can buy more expensive model and that one records without the limit :)
Oh then sorry, my bad. When I had the same problems with my camera and read after it, these were the infos I found! Then it is a bummer D: Hope you can sort it out somehow!
that is usually because of taxes and product category reasons, cameras that records for too long (cant remember the limit) counts as a camcorder, so taxes would be different, so the manufacturer deliberately stops it after certain amount of time
wow 4 years ago, to now, you've come so far petko, keep up the good work, love watching you. been watching you for a long time now, ive even watching all your videos so I'm up to date .💜💙🇬🇧
I believe there is a metal stand you can buy for your camera which you hang up side down. Always my favourite part of Monday, keep up the great work petko and I can't wait to see the new space come together the design looked amazing - ben
Nice just going back as a new subscriber catching up with older videos and this one was on my Birthday so was great present even if I did find it a bit late, Great Vid you have given me so much more confidence as a T keeper and have recently increased my collection from one T to Four, so thank you for helping me enjoy my animals and yours at the same time.
I have always been scared of spiders for the longest time but always have been interested by them. I started watching your videos and it allowed me to overcome my fears and now I have 5 tarantulas and many more to come! Thank you for the awesome videos and helping me see the brightest part of what use to be a scary situation!!
To have the camera float above you I recommend using a boom mic stand, and using a bendy tripod to hold the camera to it. I stream art pretty often and that is what I do.
For your sliding glass lid... Search for "self-adhesive rubber feet bumpers" or something similar. One could go just inside each corner of the bottom side of the lid and prevent it from sliding anywhere.
Greetings from poland! I was in croatia 2 times. I visited dubrovnik, zagreb, island murter, kornati and krka. Beatiful country. Good luck! I like to watch ur videos.
I germinated my fly trap seeds in peat moss that was kept moist and humid I just put a plastic bottle over them like a greenhouse. My adult plants thrive in full sunlight in summer and are kept outside virtually all year (I live in the uk). Adult plants need to be kept moist at all times because they like boggy surroundings. Keep them outside so they can catch lots of flys (unless you feed them yourself). Ideally they should go into hibernation around November when the temperature gets down to about 4 degrees Celsius. But they can take frost. If you see them going black it's not a sign that it is dieing but it's going into hibernation for a few months. When this happens trim off the dead leaves and keep them barely moist. If you want big traps on adult plants I cut off the flower stems when they start to grow so the plants don't waste energy. Hope this helps. P.s great videos 👍👍👍 keep up the good work
Forgot to mention use rain water not tap water (distilled works but I've never used it) I always make sure I've got a bucket or 2 filled with rain water especially in summer
Belgium viewer here. Thanks to you, I'll probably buy a brachypelma smithi someday. Thanks you for making awesome videos and for interesting people into insects and arachnids. They're so interesting to observe !
I saw your Stromatopelma calceatum and I fell in love with it so went out an bought one! Wow Holy Hell! This is one species that will keep you awake at night! :-D I also bought an OBT Pterinochilus murinus after watching your videos! They are so much fun! Thank you! :-D
oh wow i loved this so much i got a little scared when the spider tried to escape and u was like ohh noo catch cup brilliant always makes me so happy and smiling watching these vids :)
Hi! I'm struggling with my brachypelma boehmei transfers. I need to try that talcum method. Do you just sprinkle talcum on the sides, or wet the sides and then sprinkle or how do you do it? New to your channel but cant stop watching your videos! Feel like im learning alot more and making me a more confident tarantula keeper! Thank you lots!
I love your video petko and they look so healthy and great I loves the colours of what's the most dangerous traulata you want in your dream collection dude
How do you cut the glass so neat for ventilation in glass. I use perspex for my home made enclosures as I find the glass so brittle and can never make a good clean hole. Thanks. Dan
I think it's awesome how much you support other creators! Also, I am definitely not a spider person, but watching your videos makes me want to be a spider person! lol
@The Dark Den - I'm going to be getting my first tarantula soon. I'm curious about how often one should clean a tarantulas enclosure. Does the entire enclosure need to be cleaned including replacing the substrate?
Hey mate, where do you get your enclosures? I am from Germany and am searching everywhere but I can't find any that come near the ones you have. I want one for a Caribena Versicolor small one for the start and a bigger (max. 20x20x30 for laters).
I have an issue i need advice.. I have a female Brachypelma Smithi, about 3.5 inch. My girl has not been moving for over three days now. There are no signs of life, nor stiff legs, nor curled legs, nor a death oder. Any idea what could be going on? I tried the humidity/shower, placing her mouth over water, nothing is working. We just moved and durring the move i noticed her not moving because of the car ride she ended up being turned over from the turns. I looked close and noted she was rolled over and still. Im worried she can be alive but possibly she was going into molt and now nothing is happening. Her abdomen is neither caved nor dry. I am afraid i have lost her.. /;
Hey so I got my first two tarantulas so I’m excited I got a Chilean rose hair and a c versicolor both slings set them up in there new homes waited two days to feed the the c versicolor ate last night but the rose hair still hasn’t ate should I be worried and how moist should I keep the sub straight
Caution very feisty - predatory beetles The dark den - spiney assassin bugs Go away - scorpion :) love your channel by the way, if you could at some point do a video on how to prepare and maintain and enclosure for a emperor scorpion I would very much appreciate it, you've inspired me to get one ;)
Can we get a update and enclosure build for the cute pac man frog :) i just got one and i wanna know what your doing for yours!? also keep up the awesome work!
Yes please! I would love to see the Pac man Video!! 🐸😍 I have a three and a half Year old Male 😍 He is an Albino Cranwelli 😍 Please show us Your Froggie 🤗🐸
Try getting/using a soft bristled paintbrush. I like to use a wide brush because you can put alot of pressure without possibly hurting the T. In the process. They also help with slings the like to run towards your prodding. But the soft bristles i have found wont cause them to bolt away as often. I dont know why it works, but, i have gotten threat posture and defensive strikes from my B.hamorii (female?) when using my tongs to lightly prod her abdomen, but ever since i started using my paint brush she only flicks hairs and begrudgingly moves slowly where i tell her to.
i FCKN love, ho Petko like to watch UA-cam just like me. Sit down, have a lunch, or a little snack, sit down and relax. The format of his videos are like tailor-made
Makes Monday’s more bearable these vids 😂 Would love to see another praying mantis in the collection, your vids have inspired me to get my own and build its habitat in the Ferraro Roche style 😁
Hi Petko, thank you for another great video. I have been wondering about the Feather Leg Baboon and how potent the venom is. Do you know of any bite reports? X
14.40 I Almost died laughing!!! This video is an evergreen and I really love watch at your old video.... you were (and of course you are) so funny Petko! Greetings from the "close" Italy!!!!
Speaking as a film student: there is a device that will let you do just that (the name went out of my head!!! I'll add to the comment later when I remember), but they are big and expensive. If you had a very light camera, you might be able to attach it to a boom mic stand, but if you're not using the super--light cameras (read: mirrorless cameras, or a go pro probably), your best bet is to get a taller tripod and position the camera so it is looking down at the table. My fave part of monday. Serious
Pieter Odendaal Same! He makes my days at work that much better :)
Xiaolin57 I catch him at night, his videos drop at exactly 22:00 here in South Africa -Im always in my bed waiting for that email.
Pieter Odendaal I watch him at 8(UK time) seriously, it’s perfect timing since it’s right before my shower before I go to bed :)
Valiant Faynt I must say it is great viewing before hitting the sack and his content is always mint. I love this guy
"i captured him. lets take his stuff" lmao robbing a spooder
Calissa Loricchio omfg lmfao 😂
wouldn't be a real the dark den video if one of the cameras doesn't work at some point. :') either way, always my favorite part of monday!
Alena Denisé honestly it's like a thing. If it doesn't happen, I'm disappointed !! lol
When Petko tells you to go get something to eat, thats exactly what you do! Love the video
Chris that's exactly what I did too! I got myself a yummy bagel with cream cheese. :-)
Chris lol I also eat something while watching the dark den
Me too! I literally thought "ooh. pause. let's get a snack and rehouse with Petko!" I'm always a nervous wreck rehousing my own tarantulas, but watching Petko is so smooth.

Im so glad you upload on mondays (get rid of monday blues), wednesdays (a life line to keep pushing through the week) and fridays (to welcome the weekend)....
Your coversation with Sasha was hilarious :D I catch myself frequently doing the same, while rehousing my Spiderbuddies/Arthropods
Sasha(?)'s rehousing was so adorable LOL. "People are watching" "Is this how you return my love" HAHAH
The 100% totally secure top seems fitting for Sasha somehow. I loved the straw-leg dance.
"Best way to make holes is just slap the boxes" haha!😂😂 what a man
Love the longer videos😍😍😍 keep it like that please!!!
I believe there is a metal stand you can buy for your camera which you hang up side down. Always my favourite part of Monday, keep up the great work petko and I can't wait to see the new space come together the design looked amazing - ben

Aye they're pretty fascinating.
bahahahaha
Everytime I get something to eat and search for videos to watch when I‘m eating you always just uploaded and I‘m so hyped!
Great and funny video as always! I love the longer ones, I could just watch for hours!👍🏼😊
Thanks, Petko! Glad you like it!
@caitlin..... It was really good, well done, I loved it :)
I LOVE HOW HE SHOWED EVERYONE! It was REALLY GOOD! ❤️
Caitlin Griffiths yo u art style is so good
To have the camera float above you I recommend using a boom mic stand, and using a bendy tripod to hold the camera to it. I stream art pretty often and that is what I do.
The “Go Away” sign is my favorite.
Great content. I have like 6 tarantulas now, planning to add more to my collection because of this channel.
"Ah, he's here. now lets take his stuff" -Dark Den, truly an inspiring quote.

Sasha has not caring down to an art! Laughed so hard.
Can you please go into more detail about slapping boxes. Because I tried it and no holes appeared.
Just prepared my lunch, sat in front of comp and turn on the video. Boooom. Well done Petko :)
I was already sat, comfy and with something to eat, just waiting for your video!
oh wow i loved this so much i got a little scared when the spider tried to escape and u was like ohh noo catch cup brilliant always makes me so happy and smiling watching these vids :)

I love your video petko and they look so healthy and great I loves the colours of what's the most dangerous traulata you want in your dream collection dude
Love your Video's so much, very helpful in caring for my Avicalaria Avicalaria! Thanks!
How do you cut the glass so neat for ventilation in glass. I use perspex for my home made enclosures as I find the glass so brittle and can never make a good clean hole. Thanks. Dan
Awesome video Petko you are the best of the best😃👍!!!!!
I was about to go to sleep. . . Was hella tired. But I saw my boys video and had to watch it. Good video as always and Goodnight. 👍😎😪
Where do you buy those smal square containers? And how big are the pill bottles you use before you move them into those square containers
Hey mate, where do you get your enclosures? I am from Germany and am searching everywhere but I can't find any that come near the ones you have. I want one for a Caribena Versicolor small one for the start and a bigger (max. 20x20x30 for laters).
I can't wait for the new space!
By watching your videos i have finally started my collection! I have Grammostola pulchra and brachypelma schroederi
I have an issue i need advice..

Enjoyable video as always. I still can’t believe I like Tarantula videos of any kind, but you do a great job.
I like the go away sign but I like them all you should use all of them!
Caution very feisty - predatory beetles
The dark den - spiney assassin bugs
Go away - scorpion :) love your channel by the way, if you could at some point do a video on how to prepare and maintain and enclosure for a emperor scorpion I would very much appreciate it, you've inspired me to get one ;)
I love your videos so much and have encouraged me to get my own scorpion which is doing well.
awesome ^^
First I want to say I just started watching your channel and I absolutely love it...
Nothing better then putting on your vids while cooking food
Can we get a update and enclosure build for the cute pac man frog :) i just got one and i wanna know what your doing for yours!? also keep up the awesome work!

"Whoa! I said that you are docile! What is up?" ROFLMAO
Are u selling any of your old enclosures? Im just wondering... hope u dont mind me asking...
woot! dark den videooo! your videos for this hobby are the best there are.
Now its 4 am in my country..and i put my alarm just to watch your videos 😂😂
Would love to see an update on the Caribena Versicolor soon! Fun transfers!
Great rehousing video and very cool species!!
Petko: are you docile?
Spooder: stick a finger in and you'll see
Love your videos Petko especially rehouses
I love ur vid they helped me take care of my own curly hair T!!
I just got a Singapore Blue sling, he's always in a stressed state. His legs covering his body. Any suggestions?
The only channel i have notifications for !! great video as always
Madness from Petko? I'm in... 😀
Potentially a long video? Where's my chocolate? 😆
Never thought I would see a tarantula be in like a frozen state
"stic a finger and ull see". That caption got a good laugh out of me!
14.40 I Almost died laughing!!! This video is an evergreen and I really love watch at your old video.... you were (and of course you are) so funny Petko!
Greetings from the "close" Italy!!!!
The only good thing about monday your vids 👍👍
Your tarantula shelf is soo awesome.. im soo jealous
Hey P, What do you use to clean your enclosures?
*grabs packet of crisps and a water bottle*
AIGHT LESGO
Speaking as a film student: there is a device that will let you do just that (the name went out of my head!!! I'll add to the comment later when I remember), but they are big and expensive. If you had a very light camera, you might be able to attach it to a boom mic stand, but if you're not using the super--light cameras (read: mirrorless cameras, or a go pro probably), your best bet is to get a taller tripod and position the camera so it is looking down at the table. (Might be more manageable in your new space, cause it looks like the space you work in now is kinda tight.)
Petko has the best content even in older videos, change my mind.
The go away thanks sign is hilarious
Thanks! lol I'm hoping he'll put it in the gecko/lizard's enclosure.
You could glue some magnets on the glass enclosures lid
Nice rehousing video. I think we all jump at least once while doing a rehousing. lol Some nice T's.
Venus Fly Traps have to be watered with distilled water or rain water, they need bright light and they need a resting period in the winter months where you put them out doors.
It's interesting to watch your progress in rehousing :)
I mean, you started with bath XD, then it was this big plastic round thing and you just pushed your ts, after you create absolutely safe method, now you sometimes use plastic box with baby powder.
Experience:) experience and progress, bro:)
You should write a book about DIY tarantula and other creepy crawly enclosures
As always another great video!!! Tyfs God bless you
Love the video, and your shirt man, keep it up!
Sasha is by far the most docile Tarantula I've ever seen. By far...
