Best Guide I've seen so far. Very informative with light hearted humor (this is a game). I had a Sage I never really used so I rerolled to Sorceress since I could cut initial investment by keeping the sub weapon I already have at TRI. I'm on console so no season rn and I pre created Dragon Lady 2 for the reward bonuses. I'll max Sorc while I wait.

having a guide for new stuff after not playing for 19 months is great, ive been liking using attack speed and accuracy on soul harvest a lot, getting 17% attack speed permanently cus of its 5 second cooldown is so busted for pve

@spiralianz the crystals are outdated for sure, i was here mainly for the new skill revamp uses and add9ns. But most of the class specific knowledge ohtside of gear recommendations in the vid are good still. I have my own way of doing things when it comes to combos, but what he shows should still definitely work well. Also, lightstones aren't covered here i dont think.
This is a great guide, but I have to be brutally honest: after the rework, Sorc feels like a much harder to play version of Kunoichi that gets similar results. I feel like I'm playing a piano concerto when I'm on my Sorc! Kuno feels more like gently strumming an acoustic guitar. And then there is my Awakened Witch, which, continuing the metaphor, is like putting on headphones and listening to music. Serious, I think my Witch uses 1/5th the APM of my Sorc.
I have pretty much quit grinding on sorc just keep her for pvp and tagged lahn to grind. I'm also on console though just got a monitor capable of 120 fps, but I hover around 80-100 most of the time.

Any generic tips for Succ player trying to learn awake? My biggest issue I feel like I spend too long in either stance and C swap feels clunky. edit: Also wanted to say love your approach with letting people find their own technique, playstyle, and combos, that's the beauty of Sorc is that you're not stuck just chaining together the same endless combo to be effective OR to have fun. And your editing on Peon's stuff lately has been top tier

Hi there, with that pve build without any accurazy crys. or Bhegs you are with arround 780 accuraz (calculating skill accu. and accu %hit rate from addons and skill) that means ur hit rate at monastery is about 70% only and for ash forest just a littl more not to mention the crypt that is about 17%, I dont know from where you got the pic in garmoth but the only way to hit 80-90% hit rate in those places is vipers, elkars, hooms x4, bhegs, ah'krads and the food, church, draught, addons and skill accu buffs. using accu build instead and lose 15 hiden AP is really worth for endgame pve as 13% more hit rate is much better than those 15 hidden ap. Just saying because I had that pve build with that accu some months ago until i have changed to the accu build im saying and my grinding speed and dmg output increassed as hell.
@@Heedun yep i did 9% skill and 12% from addons with 803 accu so littl higher than u in the video (795) plus that 9 and 12% with that build is a 83% hit rate at ash forest and monastery, a 73 at olun's and 25 at crypt, instead with accu/dr mix eva pve build is 853 accu everything goes up to 97% at monastery/ash, 87% for olun's and 38% at the crypt
@@diegosanz7605 I re-did the build to check again and the numbers on my build are looking good... Try to make sure you added all the proper stats cause on my end I'm getting 94% on Monastery without JIN Vipers, which is really really good for such a cheap build :D
I went back to using GRJ bon because my ping is ass BUT the swirling core is an amaaaaaaazing protected cc engage in group fights. Wings of the crow into swirling is almost instant, which lets you instagib people who think they're far enough away to be relatively safe, and the 360 degree float is amazing. Also works as a third low cd float catch alongside shadow eruption and ignition, letting you get off a lot more cc pressure in node war while you're iframing around. Howeverrr grim is still amazing as an aoe cc, and you can still cc people safely by using soul harvest and canceling it with swirling without the bon to cover the cc with SA. Overall, great bon to use if you feel like you're taking too much damage before you get grim off or if you want to be more disruptive in the enemies ball and can still easily kill without utilizing grim. Basically, do I want to get big kill feeds with grim, or do I want to give my team more consistent & oppressive cc pressure for them to capitalize on. Just hit 305ap so, for now I'm enjoying the damage from grim haha.
i found swirling core to be good because the float hits on the first hit and you can cancel the rest of the skill with an similar to shadow ignition so i can cancel ignition, eruption, swirl, & tbs

The point isn't adding SA its adding a float cancel since I can already cancel TBS and now with reworks cancel TBS directly into another essentially and if I'm smart on the timing I shouldn't get cc'd anyways but by adding another float cancel it opens up more doors for 1vXing. Just my thoughts on the new core.

Does the accuracy buff from Swirling Darkness outdamage the -20 magic DP from Violation? 2. Is it worth the time you need for GRJ instead of just Violation spam? hello OwO, i'm a valk main who occasionally dabbles with sorc. i've watched almost all your sorc vids over the years because they're always super solid. two things though; key inputs on the screen are very helpful for those less familiar with skill names, and also a small section to go over hotbar skills would be amazing! i know valk hotbars a lot of skills for various reasons even if they can be cast regularly, i assume sorc does the same? anyways, great guide, thank you for posting it \o/

You can effectively restart the loop going with stinger/hard cc > filler damage> KD>Filler damage >DS. From my experience I need more than 1 DS for a reset, but I'm also console we can't even eruption into ignition without c swapping between and it took me forever to find out you could do more than 1 DS consecutively lol

At the pve combo part, after shift+lmb (mid night stinger), it goes into c swape eyeframe into turn back slash (with animation being cancled) right?

Good. Good. You want to help your team and piss off the enemy. Make them chase you, break their lines and pull them. Go under their skin. 😊

So u skimmed passed the most important part. What exactly cancels the fg part of the in awk stance?
any type of movement input, s will transission you into s-block. Mainly happens if you want to but its on cd.
