Having a go to person when it comes to what to put on your registry is essential. Everyone has so many opinions on what did or did not work for their baby. And I agree with you on the “thrifting” baby items. We’ve gotten some expensive ($200+) items for like a quarter of the price.
This makes me feel better. My husband and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, and we are now pregnant. I started feeling self conscious of it too, because people ask me about the nursery and how it’s going. I’m like “my room is the nursery, and I just need baby furniture in there”. We have space but it is definitely a 1br apartment.

We are going to be living in a nice, good sized RV for the babies first few years because my husband travels for work and we'd rather be together. So there will be good storage but still limited space. I added several things from your list, thank you for sharing!
Definitely! My baby boy is now two months, we have what he needs (plus a little more 😉) and that’s what matters! I have to constantly remind myself that he doesn’t need more and to not worry about it! Can be hard at times but we have to do what we have to do. Most importantly we are living as a family (my husband works with the union in an apprenticeship so we’ll be in rv until he’s finished). I hope your pregnancy is going well!🙏❤️
I went to a baby shower a few years back that requested books with notes instead of cards and I totally forgot, but it’s such a good idea! I can’t wait until I have a baby. You’re definitely not helping my baby fever 😂❤️
Second hand is soooo much better! Just think about how many chemicals a fresh baby is introduced to when everything is brand new or the nursery has just been painted!

Love my Nose Frida, use it all the time but make sure that little stopper filter is always in there.... one time I forgot it, apparently... and it was gross... more gets up that tube than we think let's just say that because it doesn't seem to go up very far in the tube.... but some of it does travel farther. :(
Let's just say the grandma's will not stop w their sincere offers and kind suggestions but I have to turn them down 90% of the time. I want the carseat that lasts from birth to out growing weight requirements. I want a mattress that is baby on one side and toddler on the other. I dont want a crib because I want to do Montessori w a floor bed. They want to get me a bunch of crap that you only use for a few months. Who am I to complain about their generosity? If only they wanted to get cloth diapers or something that I actually want or need.

Green Wings hahaha! It probably sounds so primitive to them. Hapa Family here on UA-cam is a good Montessori resource. I personally do some aspects of Montessori and it can be a little stressful regarding gifts. I don’t care if my daughter plays with electronic toys at other’s houses (even though it’s sooo cringy) because a little balance is good.
I have animals so I'm uncomfortable with a floor bed because I'd be obsessively cleaning all the time with the hair and litter and I would still not be comfortable. But I love the other aspects
I have one and it is amazing! Baby may hate it but if baby is stuffy and you are breastfeeding, they basically can't eat so you suck out their nose before and they are good. I found it worked much better if you use the saline nasal spray a little before sucking to soften it up.
Second 👏🏼 hand 👏🏼 everything! Lol I went so minimal that I’m just using a pak and play as a crib because we will be moving every 8 months up to 3 years for a while.
Yup! It's something like 5 years after you buy it. I believe it has something to do with safety regulations getting updated, so the manufacturer has a limited time where they can claim the seat is safe

You’re so right. Btw we do floor bed and it’s amazing! I didn’t start til 12 months though. With this baby I might do a floor bed earlier.

My sister loved nosefrida for my nephew! She gives it out at every baby shower she can. I find it pretty weird but I mean I don’t have kids lmao
