Great analysis and points. Thank you so much for taking the time for compiling these stats. Metaverse, well I would rephrase that as Web3 in general. Because Web3 is a larger umbrella under which we have AR, VR, and even blockchain-driven technologies.
AI? Will it develop its own language. Will it get impatient trying to communicate with humans as it has to wait days or years for a reply relative to its speed? AI like nuclear power needs a fail safe just in case the unpredictable happens.
You make some excellent predictions but the aspect regarding the Metaverse is incorrect. The Metaverse will not be the place to be, BUT this is where your prediction of AR & VR holds true. People do want to be present in a second reality and VR can be that place. If the human aspect can be achieved and replicated, this will be a game-changer.
Maybe Bill, however, if #4 MetaVerse and #5 Talent challenges collide, it may be enough to push people finally out of brick-and-mortar business and into a digital-based working world. It "seems" the last straw is people need and want culture and socialization, if AR/VR can finally bridge that gap.... it might just take off (get it..take off, like a flying car.. sorry bad dad joke) - cheers
People too focus to developed AI, metaverse, etc. Forget what human need is eat, working, and spend time with family and experience failure. Leave AI in the movies and stuff, if people stuck reliving life in VR, the live they never have or relied on metaverse stuff they never doing anything at all.
I think it's necessary to at least mention the datapoints or stats that support your claims. Otherwise it sounds like yet another buzzword soup. Similarly, quantify your claims. If you say "in 2023 X thing will... get to a new level" instead of offering a percentage or something... it's nebulous and IMO doesn't have much value. GL and thank you.

I agree with most of the predictions except that (in an exaggerated way) the meta-verse will go the way of flying-cars
