My favourite test match in my Life ❤😍❤😍❤😍 17 runs need and 4 wickets in hand but Pakistan beat India by 12 runs Ma Sha ALLAH
India stopped playing Pakistan after this for the fear of what loosing to Pakistan was doing to the phsychy of young Indian, they still avoid Pak team for same reason
Jheera blade 2004 mein yaad hai ...
oh no! that Sharjah sixer was in 1986 lol
we want to smash u every minute of our life but don't want to play against terrorist
@@jheerablade7276 ha ha that catch at fine leg was in 2007
11-0 in WC 😂🤣
Those were the days. I miss Pakistan and India days.
It's a shame Indian government and BCCI are not interested.
Sports build bridges
Sadagoppan Ramesh "The hero of the second test" been forgotten
I still remember this Chennai match where Sachin played outstandingly but couldn't finish it off.... We all heart broken when we didn't get those last 17 runs after Sachin departs..... literally cried....
Back then India were too reliant on Tendulkar. This was before Laxman, Dravid and the destroyer Sehwag came into their own. Thereafter, India dominated especially in WC matches. Dhoni took India to another level with finishing like never seen before by either side in history!
cricket at its best in those 26 matches 10 took place in 2000 year in which pak won 9,India won 1,aftwr 2003 its 24-17
cricket at its best in t20s it's 7-1 ,and tests 4-3 all in favour pf India
Ali Khan
Jail Porki ki😂😂
A time when cricket was a part of life....wake up go to school/job come home ...have lunch watching these test series ....india pakistan both of them had legends in cricket
Very dubious LBW decisions to claim the record!
So Chennai crowd have big heart it's impossible now. impressed from Pakistan.
King saqlain sir love you miss you.
I was searching for this drive 4:39 for long time. I'm glad at least this video has this shot the only best shot of that match.
Where are those golden days gone ? We two country's ppl are dominated by the wrong ones on both sides of border. Circumstances of today could have been far better between two nations. My personal opinion is today u can't talk about friendship with Pakistan within India, bcz of obvious fear of RSS supported government. This take might be wrong as well but hatred is being injected in both the nations which somehow need to be stopped
let a few test matches start the healing. the conversations that begin on the pitch can be carried over to the public square. I wish both Pakistan and India well, having several friends from each nation.
RSS supported government is still better than terrorists supported government of pakistan!
We indians were completely upset however Chennai crowd truly showed their love for cricket and gave a standing ovation for pakisthan. One of the best moments of India-Pakisthan cricket. This first test 2nd innings reminds of India Srilanka 1996 semi finals. Once Sachin is out the rest will fall like cards.
Seriously.. Moin Khan actually appealed for that Ganguly second innings dismissal at Chennai?? Come on!!!
We would appeal for everything that would even give us a 1% chance
But the mistake was of the umpire who could not judge it correctly
@@ashalibrahim2362
This is not how world works
Even you could win the game but you will loose your prestige, trust and honesty.
While commenting on that catch you perhaps forget that umpires ate 3 plum LBWs of Sachin Tendulkar
@@shumailanaz8333 Not a single decision was plumb. Get over it. Tendulkar beat the shit out of your so called legends like Wasim and Waqar. Just like he did in 1999, 1992 and 2003 World Cups. 90% of Wasim's deliveries were no-balls for overstepping, no umpire even bothered to call that out.
@@usamaandhina9343 Yep. Agreed. One of the best matches of all time. Just that the Moin Khan episode left a bitter aftertaste. I can pardon the umpire for making the mistake, but the fielders and Moin Khan were very well aware of how many times the ball had bounced.
This is called real cricket. Now a days it's all about money and not cricket. Thank God I have amazing memories. Pakistan India Zindabad.
3:25. Care to repeat that Javagal?
That Ganguly during the second innings is UNBELIEVABLE human error by the umpires. Giving batsman out after the ball bounced twice!!!
2:08 think that's the only time i've seen dravid so thoroughly bamboozled
Arjun Ravichandran 4:46
2:07 cannot believe that's dravid. how he looks so helpless. must be a magical delivery.
in 2nd test indian empire made the history. that man had already decided to put the finger up even if someone apealed from the crowd. hats off to that kind of patriotism. lolxxxx
lolz
In the first test Pakistan won by cheating, Ganguly's dismissal Moin khan took the catch after the ball bounced twice on the Ground...Typical Sarjah cheaters.
@@traveltalks5476 1 wicket < 10 wicket. Both wrong though. But different magnitude
@@emadashraf6765 you want to say that all the 10 wickets are wrong? You mean the clean bowled and straight catches are wrong decisions 😂...can you tell me what are the decisions are wrong?.....And regarding Ganguly decision, it was crucial becoz India lost by only 12 runs...whereas in 2nd Test Pak lost by 200+ runs 😂
@@traveltalks5476 if first decision was wrong then the next batsman who came to bat wouldn't have to if decision wasn't wrong. It's called the domino theory
Series which India should have won 2-0 was settled at 1-1 each.. None the less a great series 👍👍
3:25 never saw srinath like this to be honest !!
Good one haha despiration bro
Golden days of cricket !!!!!!!!! Miss those days..
4 wrong decisions ...
3 in favor of India, and 1 in favor of Pakistan.
In the first test Pakistan won by cheating, Ganguly's dismissal Moin khan took the catch after the ball bounced twice on the Ground...Typical Sarjah cheaters.
@@traveltalks5476 yeah 😂
What about the Asian test championship match played in the same 99 tour at Eden Garden Kolkata. The match which saw record test match attendences but ended with empty stands. The test match was dubbed as the series decider. Pakistan won it in style while on this occasion lol no lap of honour was given to them by the home supporters.
Imran Khan
Ya b'wz they cheated with the Sachin dismissal
Nit Lover Shoaib Akhtar uprooting both Dravid's and Tendulkar's middle stump in consecutive deliveries was the highlight of that Test match. Tendulkar's first golden duck !
@@ImranKhan-jb2mr same Tendulkar smashed akhter so many times that famous inning's in 2003 world cup remembered?😂🤣
Ricky Jones no problem dude that's cricket everyone has there day. Lol Shoaib Akhtar has dismissed Tendulkar 8 times in his career that's quote a healthy head to head record!
@@ImranKhan-jb2mr 8 times?😂🤣 didn't you remembered that how many times he scored 100 against pakistan both in test and odi it's irrelevant what you said about 8 times dismissal when he scored heavily and already done damage. It's like Tendulkar scored 100 and warne caught him out what's the point of that when he already done so much damage.
Golden days of Pak_India cricket... Missing now a days
the indian umpire gave 4 wrong decisions.
+trust in GOD The most important one went in Pakistan's favour though...Ganguly's horrible decision in the second innings
+shabsify1
He made up for it by making two deliberately wrong decisions to keep Sachin not out against Saqlain. Lol.
A sin to make up for another sin.
Saeed Anwar denied in BOTH innings by same Indian umpire...watch @ 0:23 and @ 3:01 how he's given lbw to balls that won't have hit even the fourth stump! Then @ 3:46, Inzi given out wrongly. So, justice served in the end and Pakistan triumphed! In addition, two clear reprieves for Sachin early in his innings.
He's plumb out at 3.01 and 0.23 is a very good shout for LBW - u can see the ball just missed the bails because of slight deflection from the pad. The last one is difficult to make out if at all the bat did come into play, because Inzy did attempt to play with the bat.
shut up ramkrishnan
I can't forget this match till my entire life ...... I was a 14 years old kid ... Arrived at Nani House, Liaquatabad No.6, Karachi , Refused to visit the under construction Building of my Elder Mama with my Parents just because of live transmission of this match ! Later on..... Watching with heavy eyes 😭 till Team India was some 5 or 6 boundaries away from the victory with 5 Wickets in the hand and Sachin and Mongia played freely all over the ground With ease and hitted one or two boundaries in every over ! I turned off the T.V ! I couldn't see Pakistan on losing side in that historical Test match .... 12 years later held ... Historical Match And Series and First Ever Indopak Test Match of my Life ! I
turned of the t.v set and came at first floor and got having some chat with my Nani to calm down my Heart Beats ..... Then Hardly after 15-20 minutes m
..... My cousin (who was on the visit with my parentsand opened the T.V set later on) came at the 1st floor to look at me looking excited and said "why are you not watching the Test Match ???? I replied with heavy voice : What's remaining in it ? It's all over for Pakistan 😭 He said : O Bhai ! Pakistan Won !!!!!!!!!!
I said : Nahiii Yaar ?????? And Almost Ran away towards the T.V Room On the ground floor !
(Now My Nani Since 2003, Mama 2006, Younger Mama 2013 have been Resting in Peace 😭)

Once a joker always a joker = Asim Abbas
yeah and selfish too :D
what made u call him a choker??..
jeolous of tendulkar becoz they have any body like sachin and will never be like sachin in Pakistan till the world ends, kutte bhokten hai jab hanthi chalta hai to lekin hanthi chalte rahta hai or kutte uske aas pass kahin nahi aate
Once a Urinedian, always a Urinedian.

Flopdulkar flops again!!!!

Work on your definition of flop joker 😂😂
It was the best series india vs pakistan.Afrid played outstanding inning.Magic from saqlain and swing from wasim and waqar
This match still hurts, it could have been sachin's best innings, had india would have won.
That last day of the match when jumble took 10 wickets …. I remember my family was moving apartments, so couldn’t watch the match live. But we had those good old battery operated radios and I heard commentary all day long for that day.
Sachin best innings against the best attack
I remember this. I was so upset I skipped dinner that day.
My childhood memories..I was in 9th class ... Gold days of Pakistan cricket 🏏
Legends playing from both sides. What a great time for cricket that was. It was making of the magician Saqlain Mushtaq in test cricket.
Highlight of this video is ganguly's dismissal.........UNBELIEVABLE umpiring skills....
Wow. Those wonderful days of cricket
'Cricket was the winner'
What a line❤
What a series it was!! I became a cricket fanatic after this series.
Pak in 2nd innings 279/6 to 286 all out and India is huge choke. Lol! Good job robelinda! its obvious there is only one winner and both teams played well.
Left a real bad feeling after this match as an Indian, that shot of sachin was needless, singles could do.But he was batting in severe pain ,so his calculation was also right .
One of the most fullish finishing batting in the history of test cricket 😢
Nothing better than test cricket...a true test and the only format where legends are made...hopefully we will see India Pakistan in test cricket once again not in Dubai or Sharjah but Karachi Lahore Kolkata Chennai in packed grounds
This was an incredible series for both...we fought hard in the second test to level the series thanks to the heroics of Anil kumble
