Hey everyone !
I was just wondering whether to make a video on my visit to VFS Global Dubai or not. I have visited VFS Global in Dubai and Abu Dhabi multiple times but I never ever thought of making a video on this topic and it was also not allowed to record anything inside the offfice and I have to follow the protocols. So, I never made a video on this topic. However, when I visited VFS Global Dubai last month for my Visa interview, I decided to make a video on this topic as it may be helpful to some people.
VFS Global is the world’s largest visa outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide. It is located in the level three of WAFI Mall in Dubai.
Location - WAFl Mall, Level 3, Falcon Phase 2, Umm Hurair2, Dubai
I didn’t record anything inside the office as I had to abide by the rules. I just tried to record outside , basically the mall area. Well, I went there for my South Africa Visa interview. So, here, I will be sharing the details about that and I will also mention the procedure and the necessary documents you need to arrange for the same.
I am a UAE resident and an Indian passport holder. So, I will be sharing all the information that you need to know if you are planning a trip to South Africa and you are a UAE resident with an Indian passport holder.
You need to prepare the below documents which you need to carry on the appointment day.
1. Original Passport + copy of the passport
Your passport must be valid for 30 days and have two blank pages.
2. UAE visa copy + Emirates ID copy valid for 3 months from the date of return
3. Copy of old passport (if any)
4. Previous UK/USA/Schengen/Canada visa copy/ South
Africa (if any)
5. 2 Current biometric photos
6. Original Employer NOC letter on company letter head, stamped and signed. Letter should not be older than 1 month from the appointment date. It is mandatory to mention the travel date, purpose of the trip, financial undertaking, monthly salary in the letter.
7.Last 3 month up to date bank statement originally stamped from the bank with sufficient balance (it should not be older than 7 days)
8. Sponsorship letter if you are travelling with your spouse.
9. Marriage certificate (In English)
10. Birth Certificate for kids below 18 (In English)
11. Parents NOC letter for kids below 18,attached with both parents passport copy and EID copy
12. Visa application form duly filled , Appointment letter, Air ticket, Hotel Voucher, Insurance, Booking Certificate, Itinerary must be carried on the day of Visa interview.
Provide a confirmed hotel booking showing the applicants' names, passport numbers, duration of stay, hotel address, and contact details.
An important query :
* Is the yellow fever vaccine required in South Africa?
Yes. You need a yellow fever vaccination certificate if your journey starts or involves passing through the yellow fever belt of Africa or South America.
South Africa Visa Fee:
Visa Fees: AED 250 (For each application)
Service Fees: AED 275.44 For each application (all applicable taxes included)
The processing time for Visa Application is approximately 6 Working Days.

You can try to book appointment through some travel agency. They will arrange everything
