You can remove the screws on the back but getting it apart is tough with the expander panels, I use compressed air once a month.

Glad I looked up this review before I bought one. I didn’t know you had to manually flip the damn thing around in order to change the airflow I thought it would just be a switch like on higher end units

The base models are like that but the higher up models are electorally reversible witch means you don't have to take it out of the window and turn it around

@@FansandCars Oh I see. Where I'm at it's almost unbearably hot and fans like that hardly go on clearance. California. But thank you for you video, I ended up buying a Holmes window fan that switches from fan to exhaust without having to turn it around and with a button. Hope it's made in USA but most likely not☹ it cost me $20 more but more along the lines of what I was looking for. I don't know if the price is that high bc it's California but I wouldn't be surprised.
