Irven "Irv" Spence (1909-1995) was an American animator who is best known for working on the Looney Tunes shorts under the supervision of Tex Avery and then later moved to MGM to work on the Tom & Jerry shorts for William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
Irv worked for Ub Iwerks beforehand at "Iwerks Studio" until he moved to Warner Bros. around the late 30's.
Spence's animation is highly zany and off the wall in terms of wild takes, walk cycles, and motion.
Special Mark Kausler, Devon Baxter, @ibcf and @magnil for some of the identifications of Irv Spence.

My favorite Hanna-Barbera animator
I wish there was more of his animation!
Thank you for making these! Keep it up!
Don't forget Spence working cartoons from Depatie Freleng.
Wait he did?
@@darlisaward3103 Yes he did. One of shorts from Tijuana Toads and few Ant and the Aardvark shorts like Mumbo Jumbo.
you know i thought this funny idea being daffy opening the lid and hits the original director on the head with a mallet like daffy knew he was there and a employee asks who will be the tree prop because the original person doing it has a sore throat then daffy gets a thought then he puts on the tree costume on the original director and tells him the words hes suppose to say like: im the magical tree of this island and i`'ll help you off
4:00 Wait what
8:41 looks more like Grim Natwick to me
