    Apple Butter
*This makes a large batch but could easily be made in a smaller batch!
40 cups chopped apples (with or without peels)
    4 cups brown sugar
4 tablespoons or 1/4 cup cinnamon
    1 1/2 teaspoon all spice
    1 1/2 teaspoon cloves
    1. Peel (optional), core and chop apples.
    2. Cook low and slow until the apples have softened and start to get mushy. Around8-12 hours.
    3. Blend in a high powered blender or with an immersion blender.
    4. Add back to pot and add sugar and spices. Continue to cook another 2-4 hours until thick and carmalized. Can or freeze for storage.
    Apple Sauce
Chopped apples (as much or as little as you’d like)
    1. Peel (optional), core and chop apples.
    2. Cook low and slow until the apples have softened and start to get mushy. Around8-12 hours.
    3. Blend in a high powered blender or with an immersion blender. Can or freeze for storage.
    Apple Syrup
Cores and peels of apples (as much or as little as you’d like)
    Sugar
    1. Add all cores and peels to a large stock pot and cover with water.
    2. Boil for 30 minutes up to several hours. Longer is better as long as you do not let a lot of the liquid evaporate.
    3. Strain the liquid and add it back to the pot.
    4. Add the same amount in cups of sugar as you have apple juice liquid. Bring to a boil.
    5. Boil until the mixture reaches 218 degrees and has thickened a bit.
    6. Can or freeze for storage once cooled.
    Apple Butter Bundt Cake
    3 eggs
1 1/2 cup melted butter or liquid oil
    2 cups sugar
    3 cups plain flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    1. Mix eggs, butter and sugar until well combined.
    2. Add flour, salt, baking soda and spices. Combine.
    3. Add vanilla. Combine.
    4. In a seperate bowl, combine 1 cup of apple butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar. You can also add 1 cup pecans or walnuts if you’d like.
    5. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
    6. Add 1/3 of the cake batter. Then 1/2 of the apple butter mixture. 1/3 cake batter, 1/2 apple butter and the last of the cake batter.
    7. Use a knife to swirl the cake and apple butter together, then smooth the top.
    8. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour and 30 minutes to an hour 45 minutes. Be sure a toothpick comes out clean.
    9. Allow to fully cool.
    10. Add icing (let the icing cool a bit first) and top with chopped pecans or walnuts.
    Caramel Icing for Cake

    1/4 cup cream
