I taught Dave to fly a flexwing microlight when he worked as a special effects makeup artist at the BBC. His first flight was 06 June 2001at Barton Aerodrome in Manchester. He flew a microlight is the first programme he filmed. He was the most genuine, funny person you could wish to meet and had me in stitches with his stories and sayings. God bless Dave.
