thank you heather, i didn't get any tingles unfortunately, but, i have finally found the confidence to subscribe to a makeup/hair tutorial channel - i have gender dysphoria and been battling to transition for almost 17 years. i'm having facial feminisation surgery in january, and this will open up so many opportunities for me to find a footing in society and try so many new things, like experimenting with make up! and albinwhisperland is brills, thank you heather! edit: okay okay when she's blowing on the false eyelashes - holy maccaroni! nice tingles

Something I'm getting from reading comments on ASMR videos is that these videos are created to relax people and help them relax, and ultimately, sleep. These videos give me tingles and stimulate me, causing me to stay up longer. One night I was ready to tuck in at 9pm, I jumped on these videos and it was close to midnight, I had to force myself to sleep. On the contrary, these videos relax my nerves, but I could go all the way till morning, and and up having sleep deprivation.. Food for thought. :)
This was my first time seeing ALB and I can now say that I have used her videos to go to sleep countless times! Thanks Heather for helping me expand my asmr horizons!

NuMetal92 If you have a very good eyeliner, (something high quality) not a problem at all. It will go on smooth and you won't feel it at all. If you use some dollar store base line eyeliner that crumbles...yeah good luck with your eyes tearing all day.

Woah my god.... I gotta tell you I was mid crafting something in Skyrim, and I started watching/zoning out to this video, and at first I was like all these sounds are amazing (as usual) and great visuals (as usual) and the sounds I was hearing I dismissed as the sort of foley sound but then it suddenly hit me the sounds I perceived as Foley turned out to be the ambient noise of the sharpening stone, and forge in Skyrim!!!!! Excellent visuals, mixed with your amazingly elegant voice Heather, and the ambient noise of the forge area all came together to make one very very nerdy/awesome tingle storm!!! Beautiful job done by two beautiful ladies!! Well done and bravo!
Hiya Heather, it’s great that you are so up for collaboration, this is such a lovely community. I’m a writer/ performer and years ago I used to do some piece that mentioned the primary school phenomena when you’re sat cross-legged in assembly and your friend draws on your back - and sooo many people would come up and comment on that, even back then when i didn’t know what asmr was it felt like a community of nice, intuitive (in the best possible way-) oddballs. My journey to you started last year when I got sick and ended up reducing the national average of numbers of legs : ) in hospital when it was really bad my boyfriend would draw overly complex things on my back and i would try to guess them. I’ve been using your vids when painsomnia strikes - phantom pain is so brain-based; the floppy relaxation affect that asmr invokes, the thing that a dog looks like it’s having when you rub it’s belly, that also affects my phantom leg which is real relief. I wonder if asmr would work for lots of amputees. But mainly - Thank you.
Now I know why it takes so long for a woman to get ready, and she didn't even start on her cheeks or lipstick. They were already done. But now I can see that applying makeup is a bit of an art that can't be rushed.

I love how you compared makeup to art. It may sound silly, but I don't think I've ever made that comparison before b/c the purpose of makeup had been so ingrained as a way to predominantly enhance the female face physique and not necessarily create.

Something I'm getting from reading comments on ASMR videos is that these videos are created to relax people and help them relax, and ultimately, sleep. These videos give me tingles and stimulate me, causing me to stay up longer. One night I was ready to tuck in at 9pm, I jumped on these videos and it was close to midnight, I had to force myself to sleep. On the contrary, these videos relax my nerves, but I could go all the way till morning, and and up having sleep deprivation.. Food for thought. :)
And then I am over here like "If I smudge my eyeliner enough I look like Gerard Way."

NuMetal92 If you have a very good eyeliner, (something high quality) not a problem at all. It will go on smooth and you won't feel it at all. If you use some dollar store base line eyeliner that crumbles...yeah good luck with your eyes tearing all day.

Woah my god.... I gotta tell you I was mid crafting something in Skyrim, and I started watching/zoning out to this video, and at first I was like all these sounds are amazing (as usual) and great visuals (as usual) and the sounds I was hearing I dismissed as the sort of foley sound but then it suddenly hit me the sounds I perceived as Foley turned out to be the ambient noise of the sharpening stone, and forge in Skyrim!!!!! Excellent visuals, mixed with your amazingly elegant voice Heather, and the ambient noise of the forge area all came together to make one very very nerdy/awesome tingle storm!!! Beautiful job done by two beautiful ladies!! Well done and bravo!

Hiya Heather, it’s great that you are so up for collaboration, this is such a lovely community.
I’m a writer/ performer and years ago I used to do some piece that mentioned the primary school phenomena when you’re sat cross-legged in assembly and your friend draws on your back - and sooo many people would come up and comment on that, even back then when i didn’t know what asmr was it felt like a community of nice, intuitive (in the best possible way-) oddballs.
My journey to you started last year when I got sick and ended up reducing the national average of numbers of legs : ) in hospital when it was really bad my boyfriend would draw overly complex things on my back and i would try to guess them. I’ve been using your vids when painsomnia strikes - phantom pain is so brain-based; the floppy relaxation affect that asmr invokes, the thing that a dog looks like it’s having when you rub it’s belly, that also affects my phantom leg which is real relief. I wonder if asmr would work for lots of amputees. But mainly -
