21.09.2010 г.
When he sings it's like he MAKES the words and the music at the moment... like it is something straight from he's soul, music from his heart, this is absolutely marvelous
This song didn't used to make me cry, but then the lyrics started to pertain to my life and now I can't hardly listen to it without breaking down. Brian is so amazing.
i dont know why it hurts so much when I hear this song. Before even paying close attention to the lyrics...just his voice and the song itself is so so sad...
I. Agree totally. So emotional, almost a religious experience.... He, though I hate to compare singers to other singers sort of hearkens back to the pure sexuality that Jim Morrison portrayed on stage , makes love to our ears, without Morrison's arrogance, of course, Brian is more projection than inflection. He is the one. :)
probably the most beautiful placebo's song I really love it and the way that brian is singing it is just so painful and full of paison it's ... I have no words to describe the way I fell every time i hear it ... it's like some part of me is truly dieing... GOD LOVE this song and love Brian and love Placebo
This performance is gut-wrenchingly beautiful - it tears out your gut and wraps it around your throat - but all in a good way. Brian Molko is one of the great artist/entertainer/songwriters of the modern age. His lyrics are pure poetry.
amazing.. as many people wrote in here, there are no words to discribe what this performance is doing with me, I just must watch it again and again.. it touches my heart.. Brian is perfect - my sweet prince.. So before I end my day I watch it ones more..
when i was down and drunk and lonely i listened to this song non-stop i cried so loud..and...scream in silence..my sweet prince you are the one (brian you are the best ever)
I have some kind of strange feelings watching and listening to it...this performance is genial, deep, soul, pure, breathtaking, painful, confession, the whole inside of somebody...but to see Brian in these conditions I mean what had to be inside him in this moment...that song hurts me...nothing bad just something strange what I can´t describe also ´cos of drug and drunk Brian...our lovely Brian...
Hey, my pleasure! Isn't it wonderful to find such a deep meaning in a song??? The magic of the music! It's great to loose into the meaning of the songs and try to understand their lyrics..... This performance is one of the best I have seen! So emotional!!!
i've stopped doing drugs for 3 years now.. but sometimes i was getting high just to sit and listen to placebo ! .. but this song is not about drugs anyway, the thing was that Brian had a smashing night with his ex and next day when he woke up he found these words on his mirror " my sweet prince you are the one " written by her.
speechless.. breathless.. beauty and desperation in one fantastic, hurting, emotional, passionate performance. it really made me cry, and that doesn't happens so frequently. thank you brian for this great song, even though it was really painful for you
Was lucky to be part of the crowd at the concert in 2001, but didn't understand the meaning of this song at all back then. I just remember that we were all quite confused of his behaviour and performance on stage. Happy for having found this video now. Are there any other videos of their gig from Hurricane 2001????
His beauty hurts..I have to admit,when I see him so gorgeous and fantastic..I feel so bad..'cause he's not mine,'cause I'm not him,'cause I can't control him..something like that..I don't know :)).
its been more than a year now that every month I write at least one comment on this video and once again...: THIS SONG IS KILLING ME AND I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT!!!!!!!! ARRRGHHHHH too good, just too deep... and to good!
OMG I finally found this again. My best friend who committed suicide 8 months ago showed me this. I am happy I found it, but I cannot listen to this song without crying.
Brian : It is a love song really, you know, and it's... we don't write songs with radio play in mind, you know, that was a song that... there was quite a big tragedy in our lives that occurred while we were demoing this record before Christmas and it sort of had to come out. We just kind of vomited the song forward you know. And it's kind of a song about sort of two romances, a romance with a substance and a romance with a person and they both ended very, very tragically. Hence you know the very, very downbeat mood of the song. It's so, you know... the song, even the guitars sound druggy in that song, it's weird, and that wasn't really that purposeful, it just kind of came out that way.
OMG! I nearly cried at the end of it. This really makes people to want to cut their wrists. So intense! So sad! So full of emotions! And the beautiful and painful music just adds to the lyrics. Brilliant performance! It hurts like hell, but it's good. Love him, love his music and lyrics! Amazing! Simply amazing!
I really really feel sad for this... I don't even know you, but I know very well how painful is to loose someone you love, so.. If can help, a big hug from Italy... xxxx
looks like noone knows what this song is all about...but it's beautiful anyway i suppose it makes it even better that it can be interpreted any way you want to
This is a very hard video to watch, emotionally. Across years and media, the expression is so clear and the performance so pregnant that even a jaded viewer clearly comprehends and is affected by it. It's a hallmark of a performer to have something that powerful, and this is one of many reasons why Placebo's music is so arresting, and has such a loyal following. Even if the music is not someone's particular taste, it is nevertheless too remarkable to dismiss.

так чувственно,Господи это моя самая любимая их песня
When he sings it's like he MAKES the words and the music at the moment... like it is something straight from he's soul, music from his heart, this is absolutely marvelous
This song didn't used to make me cry, but then the lyrics started to pertain to my life and now I can't hardly listen to it without breaking down.
Brian is so amazing.
my God,... its very old story and everybody knows it...he is absolutely always so emotional about this song...
To me this is the most powerful song so far.
i dont know why it hurts so much when I hear this song. Before even paying close attention to the lyrics...just his voice and the song itself is so so sad...
Just look how passionate he is.he doesnt sing,he feels,he is a beacon of emotions.
He emits waves of feeling and emotions.Perfect performer...
He as if dies on a stage. Hopelessly, hurt and beautifully. In own way beautifully
brian doesn't act like this in every show.. this makes his performance so rare and special and emotional for the public
Crystal u need to chill out
probably the most beautiful placebo's song I really love it and the way that brian is singing it is just so painful and full of paison it's ... Such a powerful performance. One of the best I have seen in my life.
I love this guy.
This performance is gut-wrenchingly beautiful - it tears out your gut and wraps it around your throat - but all in a good way. Brian Molko is one of the great artist/entertainer/songwriters of the modern age. His lyrics are pure poetry.
This is why Placebo are one of the best live bands in fucking years........Great song, great band!
amazing.. as many people wrote in here, there are no words to discribe what this performance is doing with me, I just must watch it again and again.. it touches my heart.. Brian is perfect - my sweet prince..

I get chills every time I listen to this song, full of emotions... And especially in this performance... but Placebo are amazing, all the time.
Taikatalvi Unfortunately they have lost their identity in my opinion. Their music was good until 2007 but I can't listen to their 2 last albums

Althoug he didn't finish singing the song, I think the audience that was there got to see the best Brian Molko has got! Wow, stunning performance!
i've stopped doing drugs for 3 years now.. but sometimes i was getting high just to sit and listen to placebo ! .. but this song is not about drugs anyway, the thing was that Brian had a smashing night with his ex and next day when he woke up he found these words on his mirror " my sweet prince you are the one " written by her.
