Man this really is what I needed. Was discharged from the NZ army due to a medical injury I sustained. I left the base today feeling disappointed and like a failure. my head was down and couldn't see any further. But now only 5 hours after being discharged I feel the urge to continue. ill be back this time next year training and completing my basic and moving onto core training. I'm 17 and I'm saying to myself that I will catch my dream. its just a pause in my journey and ill hit play real soon. Thank you for everything!

My dad was a Army Medic served in Desert Storm, my dads dad was in Marine Corps served in Veitnom, and my dads step dad served in the Marine Corps I don't know what war though.
My dad served in desert storm too as an infantryman in the army 24th mech division I believe
