Your method in teaching is GREAT. It is easy to understand. I want to be able to read and understand the truth and wisdom of Torah in its native language. Thank you! This is wonderful. 😊

This is such great content, and so helpful -- not only in learning these useful phrases -- but on the approach to speak any new words and sentences. Thanks very much!

Are there. many Jews in Spain? It was under the impression that there were almost no Jews because of the expulsion of the Jews in the 15th century. I hope my assumption was wrong

Thank you for these very useful lessons. A question: at 5:29 why is bread written like this "לָחַם" instead of "לֶחֶם"?

At about 14:40... the phrase Kol Hakavod! is transliterated. The o represents a kamatz. I don't understand that. I thought it should be Kal Hakavod. ?

Hallo, İ have a question. Why did you write the word me'od with 'alef', and the word achshav with 'ayın', Why not both words with 'alef' or 'ayın'

    • @betawithbrett7068

The Ayin used to have a bit more gutteral sound and so used to have more of a distinction from aleph but it has evolved where today they are pronounced the same. These two words are spelled because that is how historically they are spelled. We don't change the spelling over time as the pronunciation traditions evolve, like in the modern case to match modern Ashkezazi pronunciation. Make sense?

The pronunciation of this language is highly influenced by the Slavic and Germanic language. The old stage is the Canaan language. There is such language in the history called Hebrew.
