I’ve done street for decades, starting pre digital. I’m convinced I don’t get tackled about taking images as much anymore because so many people are head down fiddling with their phones 😂
Great video David. I think an architectural video would be fantastic! Whatever that building on the right-hand side of the street at the 3:00 mark is absolutely amazing! Loads of great shots in this one. I really liked the one of the guy on his phone at 4:27. The image of the guy skateboarding towards you was mint as was the guy on the motorcycle! But the Changed Priorities Ahead shot was the best of the day for me. Great stuff as always pal!
That building is the Guild Hall, over a century old at this point and the City Council hq amongst other things. It's a fantastic building. I think that video is going to happen over the next week or so. Thanks for watching, mate. Have a great week 🖖
Sometimes I miss my 6d with the nifty 50.. such a neat combo. Loved this video mate. Love the street style / street photography. The 7d / 6d / 6d mk2 are all tanks of a camera.. great full frame rigs! Great video mate. Love the tunes and the commentary too!
Great POV vlog, David. Some nice images, I liked the ones at 2:06 and 5:40. Haven’t really shot with any other camera than my Sony ones, so the points made were interesting too.
Mirrorless cameras certainly brought some great quality of life features to photography and having the opportunity to shoot with lots of different, older cameras makes those things even more apparent. Thanks for watching, have a good one 🖖
Hi 👋, I'm going to buy Canon EOS 7 D tomorrow, it's my first camera 👀 I travel often can I use this camera? I've no idea how to use as it's first time, thanks 🙏
The 7D is a fantastic camera. You might find it a little on the large side for travel but it’s not too bad with either a standard prime or a single wide range zoom. Thanks for watching 🖖
Coo that burst rate sounded fast - heard it on the Deliveroooooo bike shot - I know you said it was like 8 fps, but numbers blah blah blah, it's not until I actually heard it rattle them off and then I thought hmmmmm, nice!!!!!! Love the B&W stuff in there. Yep, thumbs up for an architectural video from me.
Yeah, you certainly make yourself known when that thing goes off at max burst lol Architecture video is a go, I've been making a list of some of the gorgeous buildings around town in order to plan a route so it'll be here in the next week or two 👍 Thanks for watching, Tim 🖖
I've seen in several videos that you're using a 50mm f1.8 lens on some canon cameras. You got an affiliate link to a Sony 50mm lens, but its got an e mount. Do you use some sort of adapter or is it not the 50mm lens you use on your canon?
Yeah, apologies It’s just outdated links. In both cases I use the native lenses for each system. I don’t even use Sony anymore and haven’t got about a year👍
Yeah I shoot manual most of the time. It's just a habit I got into after a decade of shooting landscapes and using vintage lenses. Thanks for watching 🖖
@deancarter4109 It was a camera I borrowed from @ChrisBaitson for a few weeks so if you want more videos and info about it, his channel might be a better place to look👍
Absolutely LOVE this video! I have the exact same setup, so this was extremely helpful.
Thanks very much. Have a good one mate🖖
When the right tool is in the right person's hand, I stand to watch art.
Excellent work David ✨👌🖤
Thanks very much. Have a great day 🖖😁
@@DavidFlowerOfficial Can you do a video on the settings for the Nikon D3200?
I'd love to, but the camera belonged to my friend and I'm not sure if he has it still.

Great vid mate! My 7D arrived Friday. Looking forward to getting out with it.
That's awesome. I'm definitely going to be adding one to my collection at some point. It's such a great camera. Cheers for watching mate 🖖😁
As always, this POV is lovely ♥️ and that Canon with the 50 mil lens is 🔥 hats off to you and 👍👍 this video. Have a great day Sir ✌️♥️
Thank you, mate. Have a great week 🖖

I like the cream phone boxes (that tell me you’re in Hull) :)
Aye they kinda stand out 🤣👍
-Awesome content Bro!
Very kind. Thank you🖖

Yeah, I've found I love the simple rugged set ups. I think I'll be adding a couple more Canon bodies to the collection soon 🖖
@@DavidFlowerOfficial *just one more camera* hahaha
Awesome shots as always! You never disappoint me 🖖 great work!
Thanks very much, Alex. Have a good one 🖖

Good one Dave 👍 you did well with that light so flat!
Cheers, Mike. It was annoying at times but as soon as I had decided to go bnw it worked out. Thanks for watching mate 🖖😁

Canon 7D on my local for sale at £150. Not sure about the shutter count but that item led me here
The 7D is a solid camera and £150 seems about right if it’s in decent condition. Thanks for watching 🖖
Also I'll check out that hashing!!
Get on it, mate, I'd love to see your shots on there👍
@@DavidFlowerOfficial will do!
I like using my a6400 or a7iii for street photography for the silent shutter option.
Yeah, exactly, it's little quality of life things that the mirrorless have that makes them so great to use. Thanks for watching 🖖
Hi David, just out of interest what setting do you have the 7d on? Is the wheel set to M?
Yeah I shoot manual most of the time. It's just a habit I got into after a decade of shooting landscapes and using vintage lenses. Thanks for watching 🖖
Are all the photos SOOC?
No, I always shoot raw and edit👍
Sorry what lens are you using
It’s right there in the title mate, 50mm f1.8 which on the 7D gives around an 80mm full frame equivalent field of view (1.6x crop) 🖖
@@DavidFlowerOfficial so might be me but is it the Sony 50mm f1.8 the sigma is 1.6
@deancarter4109 it’s all Canon. It’s the super cheap plastic 50mm f1.8, not the newer stm one
@@DavidFlowerOfficial is it in your links? I’m thinking of trying the 7D currently have the lumix G7 and heard good things about the 7D
