Man I am sorry for your loss.. I haven't has a fire, but I have had to start all over as well during covid. I had a medication resistant strain of camallanus worms, worked with my vet and even after trying everything I couldn't save the fish. I had to nuke the tanks, it was the most heartbreaking thing I ever had to deal with, my Gideons, gone, long fin bristlenose gone, so so so many fish gone. I had about $2k of loss and a year of effort taken away from me
I'm sorry. It is very hard to start. As I tell people, these fish are not just fish. They are family, stress relievers, therapist etc. I am sorry for your loss too. I'm sure you did everything you could possibly do
