Warren weekend, just binge watching GREAT hunting videos today!! And these air guns are just CRAZY!! And watching the last breath leave that ram was just incredible filming!
I own a 500 S&W with a 6.5 inch semi-lug barrel. The semi-under lug comes out just enough underneath to protect the ejector rod from damage. A classic barrel profile. The barrel has hidden from view porting on either side of the front sight. Integral compensator barrel. At just over 60 ounces empty it balances well and looks like a 5 inch barreled model 629 proportionally. Nice hunting video. And meat for the table.
Great video, and thank you for bringing a very interesting place to my attention. I live south of Houston, and didn't know about the Double Drop Ranch. It was also interesting to see the Sam Yang air rifle. A very long time ago, I used to sell their large diameter oil and gas pipes in another country. Good hunting!
I hunt whitetails with my 22-250. It was my first rifle and I've gained confidence in it over the years. I feel like caliber debate is just irrelevant. I've learned over the years that the important thing is the basic fundamentals and improve upon them skills. I've killed a few deer with my 22-250 and each one either dropped or didn't go very far at all. My favorite thing to hunt with though is my muzzleloader. Everything I've shot with that has dropped in its tracks and is just fun in general to hunt with. I can handle bigger recoil than people think I can. I just prefer that slight challenge of using a smaller gun lol. I was shooting my dad's 7mm mag when I was 13 and was shooting since I was 4 when my dad taught me.
