I know a lot of you will tell me at it's most simple it's punk rock, and it is, but Dropkick Murphy's kind of occupy their own sonic space. I can't think of many, if any, other bands that have the whole Celtic thing going on just as much as the punk rock aspect of things, to such an extent you might argue they invented their own sub-genre within the sphere of punk.
@@discharge666 True I dunno how I forgot about Flogging Molly. I haven't heard of the Pogues, I think if I lived up in the New England area I'd probably be more well versed in all of them though, right? lol

voteZDLR There's also Flogging Molly, but other than them, there aren't too many groups around. The Pogues pretty much started it all.
