- The 4 consecutive pools and falls in Sai Kung, Hong Kong are famed for its gorgeous setting and the possibility of cliff jumping. One of the most popular hiking destinations in Sai Kung, the pools (which has a much shorter and elegant name in Chinese, I promise) is a series of 4 pools and falls that run along the river that joins the sea at Sai Wan.

Great video, great scenery!
Such gorgeous scenery! Such a happy video!!
it's a hidden gems that you don't expect to find in Hong Kong :) the hike was brutal though!
The most correct word for these pools is cascading.
amazing place :)
A hidden gem in Hong Kong!
really nice scenery and i like your thumbnail and music
Thanks :) I did the thumbnails separately on Photoshop
My favorite stream trekking location. Sheung Lok Stream & Waterfalls are badass. Try to complete the whole stream and I'm sure you'll love it too. Cheers! -joel
Hey, Cool video! I'm thinking of visiting Sai Kung next time I'm in Hong Kong in Oct-Nov. Was wondering you have any idea if it's as beautiful during that time?
I'm glad you enjoyed it. It should still be warm around that time so it's the perfect time to visit without getting burnt to a crisp! Sai Kung is amazing so you should definitely visit!
Thanks for the reply. Also saw your post West Hill High an alternative to the Peak, looks cool, will probably give that a try when I'm in Hong Kong. Any other hiking places you suggest? (Nothing too extreme, I'm a newbie at hiking in HK)
In terms of best beginners trail, it'd be Dragon's Back and Cape D'Agulia, however, both can get quite crowded on weekends and isn't the easiest to get to.
Another good one is the Wilson Trail Stage 3 - near Yau Tong. All of these are around 3 hours!
Alternatively, you can go to Sharp Island for a wander around (Sai Kung via ferry) - it's a geopark
Cool thanks for that. I'll most probably do Dragon's Back as it's a must, also thinking of Lions Rock. Have you been to Ng Tung Chai Waterfall?
Lion Rock is great too - but it isn't as easy and would definitely be tougher. Ng Tung Chai is nice - but a lot of stairs and not the easiest place to go to, you'd have to take the bus from Tai Po!
