I met Kevin Hart when we did a concert in my hometown. Him and his whole crew stayed at the hotel I was working out. Let me say first, shout out to Joey Wells who treated us with respect and took the time to converse with some of us. Joey and i had a few conversations, mostly cracking jokes. Dude is a great guy and extremely funny. He asked if I wanted tickets to the show and I told him I was working until 8, then I had homework for school. So he set it up for me to meet Kevin. I cant thank him enough. Kev was super humble and despite trying to hurry to make it to his show, he took the time to talk briefly with me and take a picture. Say what you want about the guy, but him and the people around him are good people.

This is one of Sway's best interviews! I'm not done watching it but wow Kevin drops so much knowledge on the path to his success here, and how he is continuously expanding his brand. I wasn't aware he was a CEO of his own business till watching it. I'd recommend every entrepreneur and business person who is looking to expand his or her operations to watch this.
I'll never understand why WE have to tear one another down once somebody makes it. I can see the pain in KEV's eyes and the frustration at having to explain his success after investing so many years of not making it. When I got saved, stop selling drugs and started selling houses and property my people did they same thing to me. They talked about me like a dog. Aries said that Kevin has "10-15 writers writing (his) specials". Kevin explained that he uses 3 including himself because those writers understand his comedy style. Mike said that Kevin steals jokes from upcoming comedians from small comedy clubs because they would have a better platform to deliver the joke. Kevin explained that all his "jokes" come from his life and his experiences. And even to add on to that, he also explained that he is trying to develop his brand and business to help promote those upcoming comedians to share his success.
I wouldn't call that honest if they have to make up stories to try and make Kevin look like the bad guy.

Kodi Summerville idc who writes a joke. It only is funny if the delivery is on point. Kevin hart is a world known talent. Someone else writed a script for a movie but the actors make the script pop. Once again nobody gets anywhere by themselves not saying kevin is the greatest but he is one of the most boss comedians i can recall. Me personally i hate it how we have evolved as people. Mike Epps shouldn't ever be referred to as "z list". That's one HILARIOUS ass dude. Honestly his underrated and never Faded standup special is (ironically) probably one of the most underrated standup bits I've ever seen and one that no matter how many times I watch it - it's ALWAYS going to make me laugh. Plus he's been in a lot of funny movies. Mike Epps is a funny dude. He just never had the buzz around him that Kevin Hart did and another thing is Kevin came in to the game at a time when there really wasn't any big name comedian popping. Dave Chappelle was still MIA in Africa I believe and I think people wanted someone to take the crown or at least another black comedian to pick up where he left off. Which btw - Dave is top 5 GOAT dead or alive. Wouldn't put Kevin in that list but he is a hilarious dude. I'm definitely not hating. Yall don't understand. Kevin is going through a extreme version of seasoning.... he has spent a lot of time in the field making you laugh. Now he is taking all that he has done and building a whole new platform/brand to foster emerging talent. Not only is this geniuous, its incredibly charismatic. This is the ideal way of evolving success. A lot of people will get successful in their art form or trade, and then spend the rest of their lives on vacation or in the club.... essentially wasting all of their money and skill. But Kevin, at search an early age, is turning his popularity into a business machine.... He is investing in himself to build a brand. This is what Michael Jordan did. This is what Donald Trump does. This is what many others have done. But makes Kevin unique is that he is building a machine specifically designed to give emergying comedians a platform. Its genious. And the way he is FUNDING THIS is by flooding the market with his own content.... that includes movies, shows, videos, commercial, clothing ect..... He knows this is more quantity than quality, but he is literally raising money to fund what he will be doing for the rest of his life.... Running a Business.... And you can already see this evolution taking place. His interviews sound much more like Harvard Business Reports than Comedy skits..... He is clearly very passionate about building a business, and I think that is awesome. If more black people had this mindset, we would have hundreds of black billionairs in this country..... But he is well on his way to becoming a billionaire before his 60's.... meaning that he will have ample amount of resources to give back and build programs to help lower income communities.... aka the hood. This is the correct mindset. He is in investment mode

the reason why Kevin Hart is so successful, is because he allows himself to be universally acceptable. He doesn't all himself to tell jokes that will separate himself from different types of demographics. He tells jokes about his personal life without saying things like "white people, you have to understand" or "black people, you know what I mean." He keeps it strictly about himself and his experiences and because of it people are able to easily find themselves drawn to what he says

I am 54 years old and I have never ever heard another entertainer give game like kevin does all the damn time. When has your favorite comedian explained to you how to be successful in entertainment? I've seen this brother online for years and all he does is empower those around him. This is how it is supposed to be done. I remember when I was in my 20s and 30s and I'd ask someone how did they do something and I would have other black man tell me "the game is to be sold not told". WTF.
