    I fell in love to this music with the love of my life and soulmate. He introduced me to so much beauty in this world, but this was probably the pivotal moment. I never imagined that musical instruments could make love to one another in this way, expressing all that love can be, even though I once dreamed of being a concert violinist myself. Thank you for recording what I will always think of as the most beautiful, romantic and sensual music ever composed.

    the next time you listen to Borodin
    remember he was just a chemist
    who wrote music to relax;
    his house was jammed with people:
    students, artists, drunkards, bums,
    and he never knew how to say: no.
    the next time you listen to Borodin
    remember his wife used his compositions
    to line the cat boxes with
    or to cover jars of sour milk;
    she had asthma and insomnia
    and fed him soft-boiled eggs
    and when he wanted to cover his head
    to shut out the sounds of the house
    she only allowed him to use the sheet..

    Wow, the cellist's eyes at 5:38 is startlingly clear and... wow... they're like clear pools that invite people to look in and be lost!

    How is it possible to compose such a music? or to paint like the baroque, rinascimento,
    impressionism painters did! I grew up within a musical family and never reach a whole
    knowledge about every composer, I guess it is impossible, but every day I "taste" the
    pleasure of a new musical work... and I'm already old...

      You are not that old if you can feel the sound of musical instruments making love and enjoy the pleasure it evokes. It is part of the fabric of my life in such a painfully exquisite way, and I am young again whenever I hear it.

    Russian composers! Russian soul, and feelings, and musical sense. All! Think of
    Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Prokofieff, Glinka, Rachmaninoff, and so forth... Many many thanks to Rushcello for this beautiful present.

    Borodin wrote the cello part for himself; he must have been a remarkably talented cellist (or considered himself to be). LOVE THOSE HARMONICS!

    My mother had the honor of playing in the “Dubinsky” quartet at IU for four years. During that time, she played most of the Borodin quartet repertoire, including this. I wish I could have heard her playing it with “Rosti” (Rostislav Dubinsky, the original 1st Violinist of the Borodin Qtet.), but this is very good too!

    This is an extremely beautiful version of the Nocturno. I´like to know who the performers are. Another thing: there is a "short" by Pixar or Disney, called THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL, which only lasts 6 minutes, without voices, only this music as background, and it is so, so touching! If any of you knows who the performers of this version are, please post it. Thank you. Adela.

      Yes, I wish it could be played louder. I would fill the air with its beauty. I had it on vinyl in what feels like a former lifetime. I want it with me forever and loud enough to be the only sound I hear. It is just that beautiful and it evokes such exquisite memories.

    Esen rüzgarı iliklerinde hissetmek miydi yalnızlık ?
    Etmeyen bir rüzgarı hayal etmek mi
    Günlerce beklemek o rüzgarı
    Soğuk bir çölün ortasında
    Yoksa bayıl yaşamdaki kırık hayaller mi
    Yoksa bir hayal meyal yaşamak
    Yaşamak mıydı önemli olan
    Hissetmek, yaşamak mı
    Yürümek mi
    Neydi,yaşamak neydi..
    Her saniye ölmek belki
    Ölmek ne
    Her saniye yalnızlaşmak mı

    this is great but I can hear someone breathing and it's really distracting
    do they have to breathe?

    • @PewPewReload
      @PewPewReload 7 місяців тому

      First of all, you're an idiot. Yes, they have to breathe. Performers, "people," who perform music, have to breathe. Also, it's an incredible addition to the performance listening to them, and all their physical attributions, as they literally lay down one of the most incredible live performances of classical music on UA-cam. If you can't appreciate that, you are too ignorant to even understand what's happening here...
