For £147 (because no free postage is scandalous) that is absolutely shocking contents. They’re really laughing at us craft lovers giving us these mass produced items that probably cost no more than £10-20 to produce! Crazy!!!!
Completely agree the price is rough even considering conversion rates, as I am from the US. I was of the mind that it might get better as it went on, but I do not see the value.
Totally agree! I know that advent calendars are not value for money but honestly, nothing in that group of objects was cool. I think they designed the boxes and then just put in stuff they hadn’t sold. Wonder if every calendar has the same things even. Think I could do better with stuff I have lying around my house!
Not only are you completely correct... but you're being too too kind(!). Take #1, the world's tiniest stack of post-it notes, distracting us by placing it in a cute envelope. Well maybe they could have provided 3 or 4 or 5 of those envelopes. And #4, a "to-do" pad. When I see stuff like that I feel they should provide a couple at least. The sad (and actually insulting) part is that the box it comes in... IS twice the size of the pad it contains. I remember when she opened it up it looked like someone already emptied it of half its' contents.
A very enjoyable unboxing and you have saved me £140. I have been dithering over buying it, having already had one calendar disappointment this year, and I really don't think this is worth that amount of money to me despite the beauty and practicality of the packaging. I really would not want the jigsaw, which for me is the equivalent of '23s mindfulness calendar thing (although a friend was happy to have it, which I doubt would apply to the jigsaw). As well as a pencil sharpener we got an eraser last year and I remember being disgruntled because the refills for the fountain pen came as a separate item and the two sets of little cards were on consecutive days. I still have most of what came in last years and you can't quibble about the quality of any of it - but I haven't actually used any of it, it has just been stored with the rest of my stash.
I'd forgotten about the pencil sharpener! I agree they spread things out amongst the boxes last year. I do feel this years is better and has more in it... the washi tapes are together, the cards are together. Having different pen types would have been nicer. I really loved getting a fountain pen last year and use that all the time along with the blue notebook, matching pen and elastic thing to hold the pen. That trio has become a handbag essential for me. The paper clips are also better quality this year as well. The trouble with most product based advent calendars is they include similar products each year. I'll be unboxing the Cult Pens Advent Calendar today. That's a new one for me so I'm looking forward to seeing how that compares.
Omg 😂😂😂 I can't believe I edited that out or didn't notice it was missing when I uploaded the video! I'll add the no 11 box opening later today... as a separate video. And the triple check the other stationery advent calendar vids before uploading! 🤣🙈
This is crazy! It's a very beautiful box, but why is it so big? if everything is so small! It's too expensive for the one-time joy of unpacking! This is a gift for those who have "everything." I was wondering if you would notice the absence of 11! Haha, when we were looking for 16, we got so close!
Rather a lot for few excellent items. They clearly spent more money on the packaging and less thought with the items. A real notebook could have saved this.
Each box averages out just under £6 which seems a lot. But it's a top-end brand and if you check out their individual product pricing it works out being a good deal, especially as you can re-use the box. But likewise, it's only good value if you would spend that much on their products in the first place. I'm interested to see what's inside the Cult Stationery Advent Calendar as that's more of a standard tear-open-the-window calendar.
It definitely strikes me as a modern, pop color palette. It's not a color scheme I normally go for, but I think this whole advent calendar is a bunch of fun.
Well, I watched all the video as I wanted to hear your final thoughts about it. It’s a very underwhelming stationary selection with a pretentious vibe. They want to give the impression of a luxurious piece with its size, sturdy box, colour palette, gold vibes but as I see it from the other side of the screen it’s too much packaging with so little in, most of la low value little things. I agree the presentation of certain items is misleading like the highlighters, multiples of the same etc., you save my pocket for enabling me to this calendar, I will opt for art supplies instead.
I was disappointed with the lack of cohesion, but I do think most of the products are really nice and great quality, apart from the Jigsaw and possibly the photo frame. It's hard to work out who they're pitching this at as the price point is high. I'm going to compare the three different calendars in another video.
Now, what I would do is deconstruct all of the inner boxes to make templates. Then I would deconstruct the blue box so I can make more of these. Adding the deconstructed patterns to all the bits and bobs in this advent calendar would help bump it up to closer to the price they are charging!
I don’t like metal book marks as they can damage the pages of the book! Not a very good box I’m afraid, definetly not worth the money. What exactly is the color way?
The items are lovely. I notice they use double the amount of boxing than needed. It's disappointing though that every one sends out black ink pens. A change in color would be nice.
Yes, I think that's so they could justify/fill the three layers. Plus it's eye candy and makes it look like your getting more for your money. I totally agree that three black pens is overkill. Last year we had a blue ink fountain pen and a rollerball pen. And I loved getting the fountain pen (I actually use it).
This is top end stationery brand and the products are all high quality. It would be fair to say that the products are not something you would use but it's definitely not a rip off.
@ I’m entitled to my opinion and my opinion is that it’s a rip off. I would use the products and buy high end myself, but this “IN MY OPINION”, is not worth the money and is a rip off. You believe that it’s not, and you are entitled to think that. Just because I don’t agree with your view, doesn’t make me wrong.
I very much love the big box, the design ad the colourpalette. A Size A5 hardcover Journal in 24 would have been perfect tho. That would have tied it all together And instead of the jigsaw some beautiful metallpaperclips would have been better
It's definitely a weird colour collection this year. Last year was really slick and a mix of navy and green mainly which visually worked really well. I might do a comparison of this year and last year as I use and still have most of the pieces. It's saving grace is everything is amazing quality and very useable (ignoring the jigsaw).
Last year if I remember correctly, there were 3 lots of sticky notes and some mini sticky notes. It was way too much. This year at least they only had the standard size and the mini's. But it is super expensive.
This is the first time watching you but I do love me a good advent unboxing. This one is shocking;y bad. For the money it’s terrible. It feels as though they’ve spent all the money on the packaging. Beautiful box but shameful goodies. 💜
Not worth the money in my opinion and that Jigsaw???? I hate jigsaws and don't expect them in a high end advent calendar Really enjoyed your video thanks for sharing
Is it just me or do all of these products feel more spring/summer than winter? To me that's the most distressing bit. Where is the burgundy, forest green, gold?
Not very cohesive and an awful lot of money for some pretty packaging and items that are just fine. The colours/patterns all seem really random together and there are some weird choices e.g. two badically identical pens in a row. Loved watching the unboxing but I won't be buying this one!
Just treat yourself to these items yourself from premium companies. You can pick exactly what you want and how many. You can skip the things you don’t need or want. I can shop for myself.
Yes it's UK based (I'll add a link in the description) but they also ship to Republic of Ireland, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland and the USA.
I went and looked on their website to see what their pens are like. Day 9 is a ball point pen which explains it's weaker and thinner black line. The other 2 pens are roller balls which is why they seemed smoother and more fluid.
It looks like everything was bought in Tiger. There is nice stuff there, but this is very overpriced for stuff that looks like it was bought in Tiger or Søsterne Grøne
Sigh i hate how these pretentious brands spend no effort into design and just smash some basic stuff with random colors into some fancy cardboard boxes and call it a day. They can be good quality but with the same money i can buy more and cuter stuff in any random stationery shop, even choosing something good quality. They don't have cohesion, they're basic and they're pricey. And some of these stuff is really cheap like the stickers, you can buy identical stickers for 1- €/$ . I think this is not worth the price. Nice unboxing though.
They seem to waste a lot of space in these boxes - the washi tape box could have had more tapes in them. It's nicely presented, but I feel like they've paid more attention to the design of the boxes than what is in the calendar and I wouldn't pay almost £150 for it.
seems a strange choice to make blue and silver box and then fill it with random colors and gold. already a disappointing. the cards.. why are they all saying "thank you"? wouldn't know when to even one of those. they didn't do a good job with the order of the items as well.
I'm not at all meaning to be rude but those two pens were probably the ugliest ones I've seen in awhile. For the price, this Advent box, colors and items was just not right. Extreme rip off I'm afraid.
I'm sorry but I would be really, really disappointed with this advent calendar. The price is shocking for what you get. I feel bad for those who have it to open it each day.
Ugh…so sad you spent so much for this. A few cute items, but no where near worth the money paid…terrible value and very uninspiring items. Lovely packaging which was worth more than the chintzy items they held 😢😢😢 Makes me not want to chance buying any advents or other surprise boxes as the surprise be that I’ve wasted my money 😮
For £147 (because no free postage is scandalous) that is absolutely shocking contents. They’re really laughing at us craft lovers giving us these mass produced items that probably cost no more than £10-20 to produce! Crazy!!!!

@@CharStar654 I saw an American brand on youtube and the contents were even more under whelming as it was full of stickers and playing cards.
@ I have no doubt. To be honest the UK calendars are far superior most of the time.
A very enjoyable unboxing and you have saved me £140. Omg 😂😂😂 I can't believe I edited that out or didn't notice it was missing when I uploaded the video! I'll add the no 11 box opening later today... as a separate video. And the triple check the other stationery advent calendar vids before uploading! 🤣🙈
Absolute waste of money, could have at least fine free postage…
The first pen is a ballpoint - it’s oil-based ink. The second and third ones are rollerball ink, which is water-based.
This is crazy! It's a very beautiful box, but why is it so big? if everything is so small! It's too expensive for the one-time joy of unpacking! This is a gift for those who have "everything." I was wondering if you would notice the absence of 11! Haha, when we were looking for 16, we got so close!

The packaging is lovely. If I were going to order this, I would absolutely re-use the box for my stickers and washi tapes.
I absolutely loved the colors of the entire calendar. I loved the combination. I think it's the best calendar so far ❤❤❤
It definitely strikes me as a modern, pop color palette. It's not a color scheme I normally go for, but I think this whole advent calendar is a bunch of fun.

Omg seriously Thank you no way it's worth the money, you lost me on the over packaged sticky notes.❤
Sane that company needs emailing lol...clips n Notelets. Poundshop has them!
Very pretty but the price is wow. The jigsaw puzzle is very nice.
I like all your advent videos!
Thank you for showing us these advent boxes. I love them but too $$$
I don’t like metal book marks as they can damage the pages of the book! Not a very good box I’m afraid, definetly not worth the money. What exactly is the color way?
i've ripped too many pages with metal bookmarks
That's a fair and interesting point.
I wouldn't pay £40.00 for this, what a load of rubbish. This best thing is the box! Thank you.
I bought an item very similar to number seven. It was sold as a reading glass case.
What an absolute rip off! If it was priced at £50 I’d be gutted let alone £140! Outrageous!
This is top end stationery brand and the products are all high quality. It would be fair to say that the products are not something you would use but it's definitely not a rip off.

The golden clip ons are nice.
You didn’t open #11
Not very cohesive colour-wise, and a shame the pencil case couldn’t be used with the notebook, but some lovely, high quality items.
It's definitely a weird colour collection this year. Last year was really slick and a mix of navy and green mainly which visually worked really well. I might do a comparison of this year and last year as I use and still have most of the pieces. It's saving grace is everything is amazing quality and very useable (ignoring the jigsaw).
I think I’d rather take £100 into a good stationary shop for a splurge.
Honestly this just looks like a box of stuff they couldn't sell throughout the year.
Thanks for the calander unboxing! Definitely not worth the price! I do love a jigsaw but not in a Calander!
Sweet Jesus, this is lots of boxes! And for too many things I would not want.
I choked when i saw day 1 was post-it notes. It didnt get better. Thank you for the video! Not worth the money.
Last year if I remember correctly, there were 3 lots of sticky notes and some mini sticky notes. It was way too much. This year at least they only had the standard size and the mini's. But it is super expensive.
Looks like junk you can get at the dollar store. The packaging is probably worth more than the products. 😂
Pen, pencil case or for readers for older people 😊
Maybe you can unbox the Legami Milano advent calendar next…
This is the first time watching you but I do love me a good advent unboxing. This one is shocking;y bad. For the money it’s terrible. It feels as though they’ve spent all the money on the packaging. Beautiful box but shameful goodies. 💜
Not worth the money in my opinion and that Jigsaw???? I hate jigsaws and don't expect them in a high end advent calendar
Really enjoyed your video thanks for sharing
The jigsaw was such a let down. I really love a good jigsaw, but I don't want one in a luxury stationery advent calendar!
Is it just me or do all of these products feel more spring/summer than winter? To me that's the most distressing bit. Where is the burgundy, forest green, gold?

I'm not a fan of the colour pattern selection this year. Last years collection gelled really well.
Do you know how much does it weight?
That's a good question but unfortunately I don't know and it's not on their website... they just have the dimensions.
One looks like it could be gel of some kine
You missed 11 🙈🙈🙈
I know 😂🙈 It's here ua-cam.com/video/m0tLpOXgdFU/v-deo.html
Just treat yourself to these items yourself from premium companies. You can pick exactly what you want and how many. You can skip the things you don’t need or want. I can shop for myself.
Im disappointed after the jigsaw it went downhill unless number 11 makes up for it
23 was particularly bad. This is beautiful until you open it. What a waste of money and a huge disappointment to pay so much for so little
Is that worth the price? Seems not to me.
What happened to 11?
Am I right this is from UK I hope so
Yes it's UK based (I'll add a link in the description) but they also ship to Republic of Ireland, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland and the USA.
Don't be mistaken, it's all made in China, including the box
No 10 seems to be a gel pen
I went and looked on their website to see what their pens are like. Day 9 is a ball point pen which explains it's weaker and thinner black line. The other 2 pens are roller balls which is why they seemed smoother and more fluid.
This gives the vibe of buying a massive bag of chips/crisps but discovering its only 1/3 full. Not worth the effort really.
Nice unboxing though.
Wow how much 😵💫
😮 not worth the price! Such a shame , expected them to produce an extraordinary box!
Really big boxes for thin items 😅....not very good for the environment
They seem to waste a lot of space in these boxes - the washi tape box could have had more tapes in them. It's nicely presented, but I feel like they've paid more attention to the design of the boxes than what is in the calendar and I wouldn't pay almost £150 for it.
What a massive waste of money. I know your trying to justify some of it but as a crafter ..its awful!
So glad I make me own.
Not worth £20
seems a strange choice to make blue and silver box and then fill it with random colors and gold. already a disappointing.
the cards.. why are they all saying "thank you"? wouldn't know when to even one of those.
they didn't do a good job with the order of the items as well.
The packaging and boxes are beautiful, but the contents are not interesting.
A lot of money for a lot of tat. The colour combinations are awful. A waste of money 🙁
And.....number 11???😂
It's here! 😂🙈 ua-cam.com/video/m0tLpOXgdFU/v-deo.html
i like the calendar but not for that money.
That is a disgrace. I wouldn't give you 20 quid for it. ❤ xx
Omg, please don't shake the boxes
I'm not at all meaning to be rude but those two pens were probably the ugliest ones I've seen in awhile. For the price, this Advent box, colors and items was just not right. Extreme rip off I'm afraid.
Complete rip off. Would have been happy at spending maybe £40 and not to do free postage is a disgrace
Its just gimmicky. For people that 140 pounds is just change.how much of this is made in china.
Complete waste of money and resources, in my opinion.😮
You skipped box 11 went from 10 to 12
Someone mentioned that earlier... so I have a little video just with box 11 😂
I hope you didn’t pay much for this box. I am glad I watched this because I would have purchased this for my daughter. Rip-off
What a joke for that price! Good video, but like… jesus that box sucks.
I could buy more and better for the price of this. Not impressed.
I would be dissapointed, and the cards is not something I would use at alle, and way to many book marking things… no I would be dissapointed
I'm sorry but I would be really, really disappointed with this advent calendar. The price is shocking for what you get. I feel bad for those who have it to open it each day.
The boxes are much larger then each of the contents. Quite deceiving. Way over priced.
I do hope you didn’t have to pay for this yourself! I’m not impressed. Much too expensive for what you get.
I bought all three calendars! 🙈😬
Would you PLEASE stop shaking the boxes?!
What a horrible calender for the price. Looks cheap and you can buy these items for cheap 😮
I think it is very expensive for what it is. I've bought nicer pens than that for much cheaper.
What a waste of money, they saw you coming.
She is very annoying - not realizing the stamp will not work in mid air was 🙄🤯
