Revelation 3: 1-6
Letter to the City of Sardis
The city was rich and fortified. They became complacent in many ways.
Jesus introduces Himself and says there are only a few doing what’s right.
He is All-Knowing.
He says they have a reputation for having an alive church BUT HE SAYS ITS DEAD!
They need to do more than just go through the motions.
They need to make a difference!
A church that is alive should have hope,life, vibrancy, excitement, changes in other’s lives, and making a difference in the community.
They needed a WAKE-UP CALL.
Don’t be idle. Take action.
There are rewards.
Worse still. Don’t be caught off guard. This is an eternal question.
If you snooze, you lose…for all eternity!
