Hi, I’m basically spamming the front step input. But you need to do it at the right timing, if you’re too fast you’ll perform a slidestep and cross through the boss. The key point is also positioning at the beginning, you need to enter in the geyser as aligned as possible or your character will move a lot with counters and eventually gets ejected or hit the throne which reduces damage by 90%.
Yeah that’s really satisfying to watch ^^. I’m indeed using the front step counter. You can do it with a backward weapon action too, that’s easier to perform but the damage can’t compare. On the first geyser I’m doing 15 front step counters in about 4s, and this move is the strongest attack of luster xD.
@@jrcoool Fomel is the style you want to go for heavy damage. That’s my favorite style because it relies on enhanced combo and quickshot that I like a lot. But baran is also really fun, I hope its damage get buffed one day. If you’re interested I’ve written a kind of « luster fomel guide » in the comment section of my previous video to answer someone. It covers basically everything ^^.
I figured out the Shifta/JBoots trick finally, but now I'm curious of something else. The dash that can be done via Weapon Action after your 4 basic attacks.. you seem to use that quite a bit here, but I can't really tell what's happening when you use it. Are you simply weaving in basic attacks and that dash when you need gear stock, or can that "dash" be done at different timings, such as after PAs? And does it require a lock on target when not used after basic attacks? (Assuming it can even be used paired with PAs and not basic attacks only.) Anyway, great video and gameplay! Those counters. 😜
I think you're talking about "Quick Shoot". With Fomel there is 2 way to do it : -Input WA after 4 normal attacks -Input WA after an "enhanced combo" I'm never using the first option unless I'm really out of pp. But the second one is very important in your rotations since you need it to sustain Gear/pp and it has a good dps. As a reminder, an "enhanced combo" is something you perform by doing an "enhanced PA" when another "enhanced PA" is already running. You can combine every PAs, even the same one.
Hey, I'm using a custom controller with 4 programable buttons added behind. This is how my inputs look like : Square/triangle/R1 : weapon pal actions (PAs and normal) X : Jump (mapped on custom button too) R2 : weapon action L2 : dodge L1 : Lock R3 : Use sub pal action L3 : change weapon pal select : open quick menu About directional cross : up : OTS view (mapped on custom button too) Right/left : navigate in sub pal (custom button too) down : basic palet navigation (default, I don't use it) And that's it^^. Also to change weapon I use a keyboard with shortcuts. Custom buttons are really helpfull because I can navigate in subpal/jump without having to drop joysticks which is for some classes a big deal (Gunner especialy).
You need to do successiv front step counter into Mitra’s geyser. The timing between two front step and initial position are key to be able to stay in front of her.
That was inspiring and satisfying after those insane counters. Well freaking done!

I play mainly Baran. But I dropped the Talon Schneider with fire element. So Fomel practice here I go /o/

I’m using blood boots, a jet boots weapon type that every class can use and has a PA incorporated to do Shifta (PA+weapon action).
