4:46 The second intermission scene where Jump Man set Donkey Kong’s foot on fire. Was that meant to be a Congo Bongo reference? Upon completion of the last round the explorer gets revenge on Bongo by setting his foot on fire in a manner similar to the intermission.
I reiterate: Whoever made this (for MAME) should likewise hack the NES version to put all of this game's content in, bacause I *really* want to play it...
@@fultonyl1 find a regular kong cabinet. I found one in great shape on FB market. $800, needed a cap kit tho. Then all you have to do is buy a daugter board that plugs into the Z80 socket. Then plug the Z80 into the daughter board's Z80 socket. They have it at mikes arcade shop. You can get marquee side art and cpo as well.
someone should recreate an NES version, as well as a version tacking this one onto the original game for an eight stage variation... EDIT - sorry; disreguard that statement. It seems this IS the original four stages, four new stages and cnematics combined. Again, where can I get a copy?...
This game takes place in a construction site, which is why there are so many: Oil drums Empty barrels Barrels filled with flammables Girders Lifts Conveyers Bowls of fresh concrete Hammers Jacks And ladders laying around
in the newer versions of MAME there are 2 sub-games for Donkey Kong II ... just need the ROM and the parent ROM and it works great...i've had it for a couple of years

DONKEY KONG 2 is like an extension for DONKEY KONG 1. The difficulty increase after complete all 8 stages.
