My this is amazing ❤️ it’s the first time i’m seeing this kind of format like ever or i’m just dumb. Really i’ve never seen this kind of thing in our place. I’m part of our school marching band but ours is different i’m in our terms ‘drums major’ ‘majorette’ somewhat like a conductor of music during our parades (the one with baton) and our band is separated into three parts the dancers (comprising of twirlers/minorette) led by another majorette, the drums (drums and woodwinds) led by me and idk the 3rd but it comprises of lyricists and chimes and some other sorts of instruments and another majorette, and all these 3 parts are led by what we call head or mother, so basically a confusing and tiring format but otherwise fun lol this comment took so long just ignore it
She’s currently a freshman on the Stingettes dance team at Alabama State University , & their rules require them to deactivate their accounts until the end of the season. her Instagram is @Briannni but is not active at the moment.. in a few months it will be back up.

Since you’re assuming let me just elaborate the facts. McKinley is the FIRST high school that opened in Baton Rouge allowing black students. It was the school for all african american people to go to back in the day. Fast forward to 2019, more races attend. However those percentages are slim compared to the amount of blacks there. I’m going to say the school is 93% black students being that i attended. The white females there do NOT join the marching band, or the dance team because they simply aren’t interested in black culture. Yes they are able to tryout, any race is. But This entire style is taken from HBCU marching bands (historically black colleges and universities if you don’t know what HBCU means) , & everything about this screams african american tradition. And how many white parents are going to put their kid in an all black dance team and all black marching band with an all black staff at an almost all black school? ..i’ll wait. That’s why there are no white girls. Blame Racism in America and them feeling uncomfortable being around too many black people to join. They are welcome to tryout. Will they? Probably not. That’s just how McKinley is.
the problem of america is , is that the other girls who are walking with the group are all overweight, to many candies, to much coke, etc. and its only getting worse
