There is a company called Pine64 with a product called the 'Pinecil' which is a small portable soldering iron that has USB-C and Barrel Jack for power. I own one and it's build quality and features are nice for the rather low price.
@@Panacamanana You can also buy the Miniware TS101 soldering iron. Its almost the same but from the same company like the hotplate. But what OC wanted is a desoldering gun thats mostly on expensive soldering stations.
No matter how many times I buy these heaters, there really isn’t enough timer in the menu. because then you start using it for everything, warming up some solution, drying the photoresist, and so on. There are instructions there, you need to maintain the exact temperature and time.
Nobody knows which is the best option to choose between the aluminum and brass versions? I want to buy one and I'm leaning towards the aluminum version... I've read that it heats up faster and more evenly... I'd be curious to see a benchmark when the fan cools both plates... I assume the aluminum version cools down faster? Thanks!
Consider the possibility of producing replaceable heaters of other sizes for the "MHP 30" controller. For many, it is not economically profitable to buy the mhp50 separately.
heavenly = evenly. Brass (the core of the ceramic coated heater) has only half the thermal conductivity than aluminium and the ceramics are bad thermal conductor, i.e. the heat is transferred worse to the PCB due to the coating. More even heating is better for following the reflow curve, the aluminium is in theory better. Cleaning it (in case you spill solder) will be harder, though. You have to use copper wire and flux. There the ceramics coating has a big advantage (you could use it as make-shift desoldering plate)
This company produces such cool products, but has so little web presence. I have no idea who is an official reseller/what the best place to buy these products from is.
Тоже самое, купил MHP30 и у видел новинку на AliExpress MHP50 и положил пока в корзину, для лучших времён. Знаю себя, обязательно возьму. Буду ждать пока ценник в 110$ понизится как и MHP30 до 60$

Now we just need a USB C desoldering gun or pen.

very nice upgrade
Excellent and efficient performance.👍👌💯

Will you be able to set your own temperature curves?
Yes , you can edit it.
Wow very nice upgrade

Thank you for your interest in the MHP50. The aluminum version does indeed heat up and cool down faster.

Due to the power limitation of the MHP30, a larger heating plate area is not feasible.
Is the heating surface bigger than MHP30?
I have the MHP30 and the MHP50 in the Clip looks like its quite a bit larger in Size.
Yes , It's 50x50mm
Are there other Pro and Contra of boths plates? I cannot find it on your website, except that brass is easy to clean and alu "heavenly heated".

Are the plates sold seperately or do i habe to buy two heaters to get both plates?
Planning is in progress.
@@miniware Thanks!
Where can I get support when I have a problem / bug with my MHP 50?
