Many would argue that heartache is worse than physical pain and Joni Eareckson Tada agrees. Daily she deals with physical pain, but still she prefers it over emotional pain. Yet, Joni believes that all kinds of pain create a unique opportunity for God to reveal Himself to us.

.. Well, I've experienced some physical pain.. and a goodly amount of emotional (psychological) pain. As to which is worse, I cannot say for sure..... but I can say that emotional pain has done much more damage to me.. inside... as a person. However, I retain confidence in the benevolence of God. It's a fine line.. to walk between denial... and speaking calmly and objectively, when needed. In finality, I have no complaint.... even though I wish that my life had been radically different. God's peace to all.

How wonderful to hear this ! Joni. Yesterdag my "girl friend" told me she doesn't want to have any ties with me in the shape of some kind of relatiionship anymore. But we still see each other because I am the Bible-teacher of her congregration. But how it goes further from here I don't know. Because everytime I will see her, it will hurt emotionally, I know that now already. Greetings from the Netherlands ! Brother San [ Please pray for us ! ]
