Mass is not meant to be a celebration. Music in this form is meant for worship outside of church. People come to church to pray and to give reverence to God. That fact has slowly become lost over time...and is actually why a lot of people don't go to church anymore because it doesn't feel real(with the exception of a few places)

Probably because its spotify. Spotify isnt exactly Christian friendly. It allows them begrudgingly. Either that or maybe some other issue who knows.
