Skill Drain to 1 means that we obviously can't side 3 copies for going 1st anymore. My call right now would probably be to include up to 3 Nib into the side as Apo got banned.
I've been doing a lot of testing with a similar build, I find that I don't have anything to make using the Bystial Lubellion on my board. Sometimes feel like i have to choose between making Dis Pater with the level 6s or tribute them for lubellion and have no dis pater. What do you do with your lubellion?
Effect lubelion search bystial banish elzette from grave. Summon magnamut. Summon silvy or rucia. Synchro in dis pater. Effect dis pater summon elzette from banish. Effect lubelion tribute dis pater. Set branded regained. Lub + elzette = Chaos angel. Pass your turn in your opponents Phase summon dis parter from grave
What @jyoungman92 laid out is exactly the way to go. I always go in Dis Pater before I go into Lubellion if possible. Then you can use him for Legatia or S:P or a Light/Light Chaos Angel. Though I usually prefer to make a Chaos Angel on the oponents turn with Zapper Schrimp or Etude to remove a card from the field and use the effect to trigger Chengyeng to get additional removal.
Runick White Forest just reached the top 8 at YCS Lille. So the general gameplan is very viable. The version also featuring Bystials is to my surprise very little explored as people cater towards a more stun oriented game plan even though Bystials are very strong into Fiendsmith so also into Yubel, which right now is the best deck in the room. The question is how the meta will change with ROTA. Also I'd assume that you will focus on locals firstly when you get into the game. The meta at locals is very different from high tier tournaments. People sometimes run fun decks or simply don't want to drop a ton of money into the new hot deck. As for my locals I just won a display tournament this saturday with nearly the exact list. So it definitely works well for me. Won 2/4 of my last locals and the ones I didn't win I just dropped 1 match each. I'll upload an updated deck list and combos this week. Proabably Thursday or on the weekend.
Not really I think. The main and extra deck are pretty fixed. Side deck really depends on how the format shapes out and what the meta at your locals is. Was thinking about Also including TCBOO in the side for Yubel as this deck can still play decently well under it. Up to 3 copies of Foolish Burial Goods is also nice guu to include in the side as it dumps any floodgate that can later be added back with Diabell. If you have S:P put it in for Legatia. Edit: I'm very keen on trying Nib in the side as well though and potentially even cutting the Ash as most decks now hard loose to Nib unless they go into Ceasar or play Branded.
