Adriana, thanks for you this video! It's o helpful to look at things we might not pay enough attention such as documenting. I use Hive Notes for that and love its ability to sync to Zoom. We can open an note doc with the agenda or any to-dos that need to be done, which automatically can turn into an action card, while we are still in the Zoom call. We leave the meeting with our tasks already on the projects and the scope documented in a Note doc! I found this system very helpful in planning and documenting. Curious to know what's your go-to PM platform to assist with your processes?

@claramoren0 thank you for watching! Sounds like you have found and adopted a great system! For me I work with a WBS framework to lay out tasks and due dates and on certain projects I have a sharepoint site that I create so all important documents can be housed there and provided access for all team members. This is also a great place to document meeting minutes in one note for the duration of the project.

@@AdrianaGirdler Love the WBS structure! Your SharePoint system sounds similar to Hive Notes, which you could easily integrate with SharePoint. What I like the most about this is how easy I can turn agenda items or discussion points into actionable tasks directly within the meeting document. It saves so much time on post-meeting follow-up! I'm curious to hear more about how you adapt the WBS framework to different projects. Do you find SharePoint's document access control helpful for collaborating with external stakeholders? TIA

How do you stay on top of managing projects in a high-volume and fast-paced environment?
I have over 75 ongoing projects right now, which is very low for me, and I'm usually managing closer to 140 - 180 after the winter. Project timelines range from 1 - 2 weeks and up to 12 - 18 months.
I get between 60 - 120 emails each and every day, so I spend at least 80% or 90% of my time responding to emails. My boss says we absolutely can't afford to hire anyone to help, so I'm basically on my own to manage the workload or let our clients down.
    Am I just completely overloaded?
What should I be doing to better manage my workload?
What tools, if any, might help to make the workload more manageable?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
(For reference, I make just under $50k/yr, and OT is NOT an option. Maybe I should just find a new employer? )🤷‍♂

Wow that is definitely high volume! If you are spending that much time responding just to emails it sounds to me like you are a bit overloaded, however not knowing the scope of each project I am merely making an assumption here.
Check out this video I have on managing multiple projects, hopefully it will give you some insight. ua-cam.com/video/4niN--3eSmQ/v-deo.html
