Man, I love the paint job on that Bronco. Perfect! Wheels and tires are perfect as well. I have not owned CC02 yet, but my CC01 did hundred if not thousands miles on trails, about 8-14 years ago. They are not crawlers, but is good trail rigs. Even built trailer for it. My CC01 was a Pajero, now featuring a early Bronco body in mint condition.
Same with my CC01, built it with a Brat body and beat the snot out of it. Even had RC4WD wagon wheels and SDI Trail Doctors on it. Might have to resurrect it in the future.
Fantastic paint job, Moosejaw killed it as per usual. On the kit itself, I, like many am glad to see that it's Not Another Jeep. If we're setting the bar at 7, I'll take the over. Off to watch Matt's review now.
Missing a “Piloted by Beef Supreme” under the driver window and a “ Go away I’m Baitin’ “ Bumper sticker! But oh well, then there was the UN! Lol, Take it through some water I mean, from the toilet! Bahahaha good job Moosejaw!
I just got my first set of C0 Krawlers!! Love them!! Have been a huge fan of Krawlers for years so was over the moon to find them in class 0 size. Now, WHERE ARE THE CLASS 1’s PROLINE?!?!?!
That paint is just awesome with LOL for days with the theme. Tamiya actually has some of the best shocks out there but they are usually in kits with “TRF” or “R” somewhere in the chassis description for the more basic stuff yeah friction shocks or if you’re lucky plastic oil filled dampers.
Love the paint scheme! Idiocracy is such a great movie. And very fitting for a Tamiya nowadays. Had a lot more expectations after running them in the 90’s. Went Tamiya when I came back to RC’s a couple years ago it was the same drawn out build process but an overall disappointing completed project with an FF03 and a DT03 which now collect dust.
Best build this year! Awesome awesome job! Wheels and tires perfection !! 👍👍❤️ Oh and (I like money) Maybe next time you can build a dildozer with a LMT 😉😂👍👍
REALLY? Plastic shocks with pre-load clips (and limited travel), low clearance, hard-ass tires, Tamiya battery connectors, cheapo silver-can brushed motor, no panhard, Philips head screws and plastic bushings? Wait, while I rush out and buy one! 🙄 Tamiya is a multi-million dollar Corporation and as long as sales remain where they are (over $30 million annually!), there is absolutely no incentive for them to change. RC, scale models, same philosophy, they've been doing it like this forever! Hey, in their defense, GREAT looking body and it will make a decent 'trail truck' (cue Matt, lol)! Thanks for the review, loved your 'enthusiasm', lol!
I hate to take 💩 on Tamiya, & that's one fantastic paint job, but to drop near $3 hun for a kinda like crawler maybe for a young kid that resembles a Walmart New Bright toy in so many ways is hard pill to swallow... Great Info & video as always tho 💯🤙🏼
Looks very fun even the lower rear links hanging down in the rear front of the tire looks good. Bro…where did you get that awesome hi amp draw battery plug?😅
Hi, I would say, the 2021 Bronco body is the best thing on this kit. The CC-02 chassis is a disappointment in so many ways compared to its predecessor. Suspension linkage hanging down too low, the strange idea of inserting nuts here and there which should be fixed with glue sometimes. The underside is so jagged. If it only would have been a real scale underside I wouldn't complain. Looking back to the more "integrated" design of the CC-01 chassis it's a pity. And sorry, I don't accept the "That's the Tamiya way", what is often told. They could have made a chassis with real potential, but they blew it. And I am with you when it comes to the replacement of JIS screws and plastic bushings. Apart from that, a cool painted body and a sympathic video.
Why, oh WHY? After 40+ years of producing RC kits would Tamiya still insist on NOT providing bearings??? I like Tamiya, my first kit was a Fast Attack Vehicle from back in 1983, and still today no bearings? With everything getting more expensive nowadays, it just doesn't justify the price. Tamiya has some nice models, but they're are pretty clueless as a company
JIS are great, if you have JIS bit or screw driver. Worked on Japanese motorcycles for 20 years before I learned about them. Much nicer now, with correct tools.
I struggle to enjoy tamiya models. Many of them come the same as they have for decades, despite common advances that should be there and the prices making the kits more expensive than some RTR's with much better capabilities. For example, the brushed/brushless ESC is junk. I think a few tamiya kits have come with hobbywing esc's but I read that it was more of a supply issue than a change in course. Add in things like the plastic bushings still in some kits (Seriously, how expensive are generic ball bearings? many $100 rtr's have them) and the fact that many kits require stick packs or lipos shaped like stick packs, rather than having the chassis updated to except a hardcased lipo. Those choices make a $140-$160 kit jump up in cost to around $240-$260 to complete and they generally won't perform as well as many RTR's of the same price, ones that can use hardcase lipo packs. Building is fun, but it would be nice to build a stock kit and have it perform per its price point.
Tamiya seems to be a little behind with chassis geometry! Not really a competitive scale like TRX4 or the Axial scx10.3 I’ve always liked Tamiya and have the Highlift f350 which cool but had to make a lot of suspension upgrades to allow some flex. A very complicated rig also..
The best part of the review was Joe's paint. Is there a way you could edit you out of this video? Asking for a friend.
It's got what R/C's crave!!
Loved that movie...🤠
Dude, this has to be one of the best R/C videos made! I love the way you themed it after that documentary named "Idiocracy". 😂
All I gotta say is OOOWWWW MY BAAAWLSSS!!-
Carls Junior. Great memories
I'm glad to see a Tamiya on the channel!
Man, I love the paint job on that Bronco. Perfect!

Don’t think I’ve seen you this excited about a Tamiya kit in a while. 😜 Fantastic Moosejawb! 👏🏼
Give it up for president camacho!!!😯😯😯
Your sense of humour is fantastic! You're certainly a particular individual.
Go away! I’m ‘baitin.’ Nice Livery, I must say.
@Moosejaw RC did an awesome jawb painting the body!
So, this truck is going straight to the top of the shelf and staying there.
Fantastic paint job, Moosejaw killed it as per usual. On the kit itself, I, like many am glad to see that it's Not Another Jeep.
If we're setting the bar at 7, I'll take the over. Off to watch Matt's review now.
The brawndo livery is glorious! I was planning on a BRAWNKO prerunner for a while.. BRAWNKO its got horsepower its what dudes crave.
Missing a “Piloted by Beef Supreme” under the driver window and a “ Go away I’m Baitin’ “ Bumper sticker! But oh well, then there was the UN! Lol, Take it through some water I mean, from the toilet! Bahahaha good job Moosejaw!
Gotta love that MooseJawb!
Love the paint job and theme! Great video bud. New sub!
Best Paint Job!
Only 7 you're giving Matt some credit.
Love the tamiya builds
this one can be a good 24 hrs mayhem - to get it to be a capable crawler or a street racer
Excelente job pait, is very nice work congratulations!!!
I literally laughed so hard at the intro 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just got my first set of C0 Krawlers!! Love them!! Have been a huge fan of Krawlers for years so was over the moon to find them in class 0 size. Now, WHERE ARE THE CLASS 1’s PROLINE?!?!?!
The paint job rocks man great video
Nice Paint...I thing and i can do...Tamiya second thought I cant do...LOL..Great lookin rig....Great job Moosejaw on the paint...
This kit gave me a headache just listening to you explain it. I'd hate to build it 😂. Body turned out great though! Looks good!
i had to do a double take at that intro ahahaha. Are you channeling your inner SBG Matt?
That looks incredible.
Watched Matt's review of this rig and counted 4 times he referred to it as a "Trail Truck"! Lol!
This is a must have kit
this brand new crawler from tamiya so great even its come with lexan body but the two speed gearbox so great rig🤩👍👍👍
Awesome video. Keep up the good work we do appreciate it.
How many others have a CC02 with Method wheels?
Tamiya's site still says they are unavailable. :(
That paint is just awesome with LOL for days with the theme.

This IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR! Wish it was with the cc01 chassis though...

Any recommendations on how to reduce that body wobble? Great video btw! 👍🏽
Looks very fun even the lower rear links hanging down in the rear front of the tire looks good. Bro…where did you get that awesome hi amp draw battery plug?😅
Pretty cool.
What is the wheelbase?
Oh...was typing when you mentioned it was 10 inches.
Was thinking a hardbody Clodbuster body would be cool.
Now that you have one on hand any chance Vanquish or Incision can make an axle mounted servo mount for it?
This is the best car in the history of anything. It’s got electrolytes and everything! 👌
Enough talk but, not enough Action.
When the running vid coming.
Man I need some of those bronco model badges for my Trx4 bronco. Where can I find those lol
Bro the WP110t puts out 280 oz inch torque at 6.0 v... 💯🤙🏽
Excelllent!
Its got what plants crave, electrolytes
I guess I would be more disappointed about the bearings if I knew what a bearing was! On a side note: What’s a pirates favorite kind of RC?
I know its gonna suck (uuurm, I meant its a trail truck) and yet every fiber in me wants one. Its got Tamiyaness, Tamiyaness is what the body needs.
Finally somebody came with a real bronco a two-door not a wussy four-door

Maybe they expect you to get it wet and not dry it 😂
Moosejaw hit a grandslam with the paint that's for sure! Pretty sure this Bronco may be more reliable than the 1 to 1 unfortunately ATM.
JIS are great, if you have JIS bit or screw driver. Worked on Japanese motorcycles for 20 years before I learned about them. Much nicer now, with correct tools.
Proper tools make everything better, but I still wouldn’t call JIS head screws great 😁
@@HarleyDesignsInc Yeah, I should've said "much better than Phillips". ha
Should have absolutely put "thirst mutilator" on there
It’s on the hood! 😁
Looks better than Matt’s. I guess with this one that’s all that matters.

Oh tamiya.
Rehabilation
Tamiya really needs to U-P-G-R-A-Y-E-D-D from the plastic wheel bushings they always use to bearings instead.
Very Tamiya means junk and unfunctional and over priced for a wall mart quality toy.
