Ive never seen this movie. 🤔 Why didn't this movie do well compared to the first one?? It even got a worse review. What do you guys think they did wrong??
First is the timeline. Theres things in this movie that kinda doesnt make sense comparing with the first. Finn for example was completely discard and both Ravenna or Freya never mention about him. Finn was very close to Ravenna in the first movie. But he is nowhere seen or heard in second movie in flashbacks. Is like Finn never existed. Also in the first movie is never mention about Freya Kingdom. Which in the second movie, her kingdom is well know, specially because of her hunters. If her hunters were well knowed, why in the first movie, Ravenna sees Eric as a simple hunter? She may not know, Eric was Freya Hunter... but why in the first movie, She doesnt asked Finn to bring a hunter from Freya? Eric´s in the first movie kinda implies that is wife was murder very recently (between a months to a year). But in the second movie, the time looks more. Its seems eric lost his wife at least more then a year. Also, in the first movie, it kinda is implied that Finn did kill eric´s wife (maybe by kidnapp her, rapping her and then givin her to Ravenna to stole her youth, or just by rapping her. Something that is very implied that Finn does like to rape young girls) but in the second movie, It was Freya that made such mirage. So, why did Finn made such comment? considering that he didnt know who was eric or that he was Freya Hunter! The inconsistence of Freya character. While she is portrayed as some cold, person that is bad and evil. Once we finished the movie, we realized she is no such thing. She was just harsh because she couldnt have children. That was the main reason. The situation about been hurt in love, end up been just a façade to hide the main reason. Plus, in the first movie, Ravenna never mention that any of their siblings had magic. Everything she knows comes from her mother. In the second movie, Freya is more powerful because she have magic running throw her veins. But in the first movie Finn, Freya and Ravenna were separated. So when did she knew about her sister power? How did she find her? Was never explained. In the second movie, it looks Freya and Ravenna did lived together all the time. that´s why Ravenna knew Freya was so powerful. Ravenna inconsistence character in the first movie, Ravenna is showed that she started to be evil, because of what happen to her and her family. Mother was killed, her village was destroyed, freya and finn were separated from her. Plus is also implied that Ravenna was raped several times. She used the mirror power to escalate and become more powerful. Her raged for what happen to her, turn her into a savage animal wanting to released in the world the feeling of her pain. In the second movie, nothing is mention about the previous events, and it seems Ravenna only had jealousy of her sister ability, and drive by ambition, did everything she could to turn Freya as herself, to use her for her own personal gain The movie should have been more about both queens fighting each other. And not just in the end. Plus in the end, it shows that Freya did love her hunters. Unpopular opinion: the trailer shows things that in theater version doesnt have.
I remember when things about this movie first came out. One of the things is that the story was created for a trilogy about Snow White. So why did we get a decent first movie, but get a second movie focused on a different character?
Imagine this plot rewrite: Snow White is Freya's daughter. When the mirror initially revealed that killing Freya's child would unleash a great power within her, Rowena sent Freya's daughter off to some place random instead. But Freya got her powers anyway because it's the feelings of lost and heartbreak that matters, not whether or not Freya's daughter was alive or dead. That's why Rowena was shocked that night when Freya froze Merlin (I don't remember his character name here). ^ That's what I initially assumed since I watched this movie before the first.
Maybe one of my favorite things about this is that Freya helped kill Ravenna because of love. She loved all the children she trained even though she pretended not to. A lot of villains get defeated by love and I am so happy Freya got her happy ending (you don't see it here tho)
I actually want to see more of Freya. She is such an interesting character.

Ravenna inconsistence character
in the first movie, Ravenna is showed that she started to be evil, because of what happen to her and her family. In the second movie, nothing is mention about the previous events, and it seems Ravenna only had jealousy of her sister ability, and drive by ambition, did everything she could to turn Freya as herself, to use her for her own personal gain
The movie should have been more about both queens fighting each other. And not just in the end. Plus in the end, it shows that Freya did love her hunters.
Unpopular opinion: the trailer shows things that in theater version doesnt have.
I thought this was better? 🤷♀️
The Story is Good but the Plot is Bad, the actors, acting are good but the screenplay was bad.
I remember when things about this movie first came out. One of the things is that the story was created for a trilogy about Snow White. So why did we get a decent first movie, but get a second movie focused on a different character?
@@BrunoOliveira-to7hf A suposta série de filmes é focada no caçador
Imagine this plot rewrite:
Snow White is Freya's daughter.
Trust Charlize Theron to look beautiful, elegant , graceful while being such a force to be reckoned with !
That was actually pretty satisfying in the end lol
One of my favorite movies! Better than the first in my opinion. Queen Freya is the best character
i love how angry/disappointed the Mirror sounded when it said
“And you… you have already decided.”
Even the mirror knows it’s not worth it.
Freya was the greatest victim in it all. Hes history make me cry
I really loved this movie!🙌
'weakness' in this context is succinctly defined, beautifully crafted and tactfully presented/managed here by this well chosen group of performers. 👍
Woah, you guys made a gritty Frozen remake? That’s... cool?
She didn't die. Her actual name is Andromache The Scythian...😂
"But you can call me Andy"
me:*havin some flashbacks* oh ye-
the CACKLE I just let out- 😭✋🏾🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That thumbnail though.
Freya didn’t deserve to die D:
In the end, despite what she did wrong. Freya protected her children 🌹
This should be one of the top 10 movies on Netflix.
0:15 love that wicked laugh
What a betrayal, Ravenna has no soul
Why is Chris' face is so funny on the thumbnail. 😂
The scene where Freya hugs Ravenna and Ravenna's clothes leave as butterflies is a fuckin awesome scene... congrats for who designed this scene
I think Ravenna did love Freya but her greed for power, absolute and beauty without any rivals buried that love deep
The mirror is like a ‘Horcrux’ from Asgard with those Nordic runes.
6:10 her spine said some⬅️↘️↙️↖️⬆️➡️
This fight reminds me so much of Thor and Hella's battle. Ravenna's powers and demeanor seem so similar.
"I loved you..." Always the most painful thing to say.
Emily blunt is soooooo goooooood
1:42 "All thats left is pain!" I love that so much *_* ! Litteraly me after a breakup XDDDDDD
Me too . When you love someone and that person deceives you then all that is left is pain .
This movie was so good, I really enjoyed it ✅👌🏻 way better then Snow White and the Huntsman! We need another film focused on Freya and Raveena ❄️/✨
Maybe one of my favorite things about this is that Freya helped kill Ravenna because of love. She loved all the children she trained even though she pretended not to. A lot of villains get defeated by love and I am so happy Freya got her happy ending (you don't see it here tho)
commenting here because I missed this too much... i extremely love when freya screamed 'enough'
When Ravenna said "All thats left is pain" I was like "TRUE"
Ravenna is right: love doesnt save your life
But like I hate how people paint Freya as the Villian and I wish she wasn’t killed
Yeah she was tied up into a wheel of tragedy and death is like the ultimate way to free her from her miserable life that Ravenna did to her
@@baominhho249 ikr
@@nolol4197 yaaaa! Her role is savage af 😝
I still hope someday they make a sequel to this movie, the end credits left an opening for it
I don’t care if Freya killed people, she’s still a victim and I feel bad for her.
Since 2014 Huntsman was a strong warrior so he never gives up because God Almighty is with him
8:20 321 strike an epic death pose 😂
Love doesn't save your life I've been there before, that line hit me so hard
ngl the way she turned into gold is just so satisfying
WINTER WAR IS THE BEST MOVIE SO MUCH
Not even if Charlize wanted she could do something wrong in acting. She's amazing, I hope she knows it.
