Many years ago, as a surprise, I took my girl to Brenham TX from Richmond VA to see her favorite musician perform. I arranged to meet him both before and after the show through his manager, She sat quietly as Radney and I talked... starstruck you might say. During the show he changed the words around on one of his songs and dedicated it to us. Shortly thereafter, that girl became my wife. 15 years later we still drop in on his shows when he's in town. I'm sure he doesn't remember... but we'll never forget. Thanks Radney!
I first met him backstage at the Taste of Colorado where I said “if we act like we belong we can go backstage”. We got a Polaroid picture with him that he signed. We’ve met Radney several times since then and he’s the most kind and genuine person ever.
@Radney Foster🎶 I'll never stop listening. Now be honest with me, does California call your name? I know that she does mine. I truly miss home. Stay strong and safe Radney and keep singing.
Mr. Foster, I have been a part of your career ever since I was a broadcaster and your first record came out in late 80s. I watched you evolve into someone who's better than me at introducing things. And now you've got another album out, and you're doing what you love doing. I just got to say you've lived the life I wish I had, and this album sounds like you're still living it. Great stuff. Should have a studio to record in next year. Thanks for making me want one.

Mark8395217 that’s a cool story. We live in Texas, so we’ve seen Rodney a lot. Hes a great guy and musician.
