- I love this kind of work. Just taking the time to do things right. No tricks, no wizardry, no razzle dazzle. Just solid.

Beautiful work. I rarely understand what is actually happening but I’m still watching. Your skills amaze me. Thanks again Aloha
I've got a 66' in similar condition on my bench right now. Entirely original as far as I can tell. I'm going to go through and do similar.
After seeing Brad's recent video of a late-model Hiwatt with the hybrid turret board / printed board, the Fender eyelet board looks even more disappointing. I get Leo wanting to save a dime at every turn. And eyelets rather than turrets is an understandable choice. But the board material just makes me sad. On the other hand, it keeps guys like you in high demand. I reckon part 3 will feature checks for DC leakage and remedies among other details?
@psionicaudio I wonder if a mids pot for each channel could go where those mystery jacks are ?
Will try the MOD caps on my next job. I dont do a lot of amp work and do have some sprague atoms left in stock. Thank you for your videos and sharing your info.
That's not actually flux on the bottom of the rectification board; it's a substance known as Samba Terasi; an Indonesian chili relish that I use on my morning eggs.
Have you ever worked on a Fender Supersonic 60? I’ve had two and both were very noisy/hissy amps. I wonder if that noise floor could have been fixed…
Nice vid as always. Could you show a detailed segment in a vid on how you do that pretty dome solder on the eyelets? I know it is a silly request but that is one thing (among others) I couldn't quite manage in my projects :) Many thanks!
Video production: so much improved. Audio quality: So much better. Link to previous video in the ‘66 Bandmaster episodes. I’d say, Lyle, you are killing it in content creation these days! Congrats!🎉🎉🎉
A wonderful artifact from a bygone era when Fender cared about Quality, Serviceability, and Longevity.
That vibrato channel sounds really fantastic… Great job and another great video. Thanks!
Sounds really good from here .
It must be fascinating to open an amp that has so many original parts and know that you're one of the few to EVER see the inside of this thing. It's like amp-archaeology.
I love this channel because not only is it directly informative.. you are also indirectly informative.
Solid indeed! Love when these types of amps end up on the bench.
Nice work. Everything clean and tidy. Would love to have that amp after you’re finished. I bet that owner will be very happy
Vintage pieces of junk...excellent. you made me chuckle.
Wow…what a treat Mr Caldwell… must be fun to work on the good stuff… what a talent sir… love this channel!!! Thank you!!!
And hey, thanks for putting this content out there for us. It is much appreciated!
"And hey!" Your self. Thanks for recording!
