  • We've had many requests over the years on how to remove knotters from the 6 and 7 series John Deere balers. It is a project that always requires patience. If your baler has been left outside or not cleaned regularly, the parts may have rust and grime that will make removing them harder. This video includes some tips that will help you overcome some of these issues.
This video is a step-by-step guide that sets the correct sequence to make removal a more simple process. Once you're done removing your knotters, pack them up and send them to us to rebuild them! We rebuild over 300 knotters a year, so we'll take care of them and send them back to you as good as new...maybe better!

Simply stated this is one of the best videos I've ever seen for equipment repair on anything I have looked up. Keep up the great work and thank you for putting this video together.

I bought new knotter ( Rasspes 3663) and put it on the svaft...but but the new gears ( 2 small pinions were not samekind like in shaftgears, old one )so when I used the machinery manually it didn't work , starved and I had to take loss the parts from shaft...I put the old one back and try to make hay this year..and maybe use old gears ( pinions ) for my new knotter...when I have more time . I have Rivierre Casalis Er 40 ex baler
