On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I have no clue, but that stuff Toxic was doing in the F-15 makes it look like it’s either his favorite to dogfight in, or the one he learned on. This was some of the absolute best punch counter punch I’ve seen. Normally GS just makes everyone look silly.

You can see that loaded roll in the F-22 vs Rafale video, but the Rafale regained the upper hand
Fun fact about the MiG-29's record, the aircraft that has shot down the most MiG-29's to date, and unfortunately counting, is the Flanker.

Most of Mig 29 users aside from Russia and India do not have C4ISTAR assets like AWACS. Mig 29s opponent nations always had AWACS advantage and the users of F-15 were all first world nations with better intel networks.
Israel got AWACS around mid 1980...after that, they literally became untouchable, better intel network. Before those times, even their opponents had their own ace pilots and Israel had lots of losses.
Pretty much, Mig 29 is just plain unlucky.

@@GrowlingSidewinder Let's give you a few then: One guy in, say a f22, vs, say, fifteen or a similarly silly number - more than he can carry missiles for anyway - fast incoming older planes each with a single air to ground thing, otherwise full on air to air load out. f22 has to prevent them from bombing the target ..

I wish Aerial Warfare was still decided by the man in the machine rather than whose weapons are the most advanced. That is why I love mig-15 vs f-86 fights. Equal footing, the only thing deciding the outcome is the skill of the pilot. But this fight did get interesting, both of you put your skill to the test. Truly wonderful

Certainly one of your better gunfight vids. But I find scenarios with missiles factored in more entertaining. Oh and kudos to whoever was flying F-15 - finally someone who can really fly the F-15 to it's potential, as your opponent.
I love airforce work from far, but your dogfights are becoming an addiction. Very informative and enjoyeable. This is way better content than what anyone would get at an airforce base lol

I'm very impressed. Never knew the F-15 would be so good in the one circle. Toxic is a great pilot tho, so it had some help. Lol. I love seeing one of my adolescent heroes (the Eagle, not Toxic lol) wiping the floor with another beautiful bird.

The Third Person Shots are INCREDIBLY helpful (not to mention just dang cool). Really helps the viewer understand what it is your doing in terms of maneuvers, and makes it far simpler to try to employ those tactics in our own planes
Toxic is a great pilot. What I don't understand is why people when they are desperate don't start playing in the mountains to create angles and make it more difficult for for example GS. Or using sort of loops where you come out very low to the ground. If anyone follows he has to be very precise with the speed otherwise he plows in the ground or has to pull so hard he becomes very slow. Or why the clouds are not used (yes I know you can lock him and follow him). You can make it very difficult for the bandit. I don't know if there is a rule between the bandit and GS to not do that. But I never see it used. It seems they often let them lead to slaughter.
He did a real good job while defending. I would love to see him again. Maybe with his personal fav plane. 👌
All this MiG-29 content is a double-edged sword: It's awesome to see this really cool, under-rated aircraft get showcased. But it makes me want a full-fidelity MiG-29 even more than I already do. ED, take my money!

What I learned from this fight is that you never want the Eagle above you.
That was a really good fight! That guy is one hell of an F-15 pilot too. You can clearly see that he knows the limits of the aircraft.

During the Gulf War (the first 1) USAF pilots were instructed to avoid dogfights with Mig-29's. It didn't matter because they rarely made it to the merge due to the huge advantage of the F-15 radar.

Fun Fact: the only reason Rico Rodriquez entered the merge with the mig 29 was cause he couldn’t get awacs to confirm the identity of the plane at long range and he was afraid of possibly shooting an allied f-15. So he had to get close to it to visually identify it as a mig for his wingman to hopefully shoot down. But by the time he confirmed it was a mig 29 he was too close and found himself in a classic turning dogfight.

I love a retired mig-29, pref German or other NATO operator (if they even exist) to come on an talk about / interview on the aircraft. Plus maybe a bonus of 1v1 or 2v2 w.e with guns only & fox2 fight with harm/amrams/meteor or w.e els has been strapped to her from the west

Is DCS really so accurate that it replicates all the flight envelope attributes of these planes? It looks amazing. Do real pilots confirm it’s accuracy? The physics modelling must be unreal.
