I have an idea for how this could all work so let's start with saitama - saitama was a boy born with a pretty miserable quirk called "limiter" this quirk would make it so that no matter how much regular training he did he would never grow in strength this caused him to be looked down upon by others believing he could never become a hero but something would change. Saitama had a simple idea "if training normally doesn't get me any where....what would happen if I go as far as possible to the point my joints crack and my bones ache?" So he planned it out and as he started at first things didn't change his strength was not growing but his quirk "limiter" was changing, limiter is a mutation type quirk which heavily restricts one's potential to the point no progress can be made through hard training. After one year of intense and extreme training he noticed he was finally growing stronger no longer stuck, he could grow and as he continued his powers would slowly soar and he would sometimes stop villains while out and about. Now you may be wondering "how is he growing? Shouldnt the limiter stop this" well remember when I said his quirk "limiter" was changing? Well to make it simple saitama is thrashing and beating his quirk through extreme training his weak body shouldn't have been doing, forcing his quirk to evolve, removing this "limiter" and gaining something new "no limit" a simple name fir his new quirk and after completing his training he could do anything but a simple life with some heroism to go along with it this is what he wants. Now I won't go into his life in UA but I will say that he is still an adult and already through UA becoming a pro hero but despite his strength he's still ranked pretty low on popularity charts anyway hope u like it love the channel.
