Thank you ❤ couldn't ever figure out why there was an upside down V at the front! great tips...I usually get gaping at the back armhole ....going to try moving it to the back dart.
@@Bettyalamode yes unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to do a high round back adjustment but it's difficult to know how much and with a knit/stretchy fabric I was thinking reducing the width...but this may not be a good idea and so the stress creeps in ...more chocolate needed. lol😢
@@lyndamead123 😂 @chocolate, yes, I actually raised my neck at the center back in order to avoid a round back adjustment. That works for me. My tape measure normally sit flat in between the shoulder blade which are rounded, and so I add I think 1/2” to raise the neck curve which worked really well for me.
@@Bettyalamode ❤ I've raise the back neck 1/2" on the pattern as suggested but raised the back shoulder point very slightly too to get a slight length in the back drop. I have tapered the slope to finish very very slightly less at the shoulder point so going to make toile, fingers crossed. Thank you so much for the suggestion I was going to pinch it out in a dart but yes that would look odd😅
Thank youuuuuuuuuuu

@@lyndamead123 you already have a back dart and still have the gaping?

@@lyndamead123 that sounds great, I hope it all works out 🤗
How do I get the markings on the armhole to know exactly where it gapes.
@@olaitanolotu6767 I would remove the sloper and place the armhole part onto the paper pattern I cut it from and transfer my markings on there.
