Around 2 months ago (at most), I was playing on Pelican Peak, and there was a default Sniper on the other team. No cosmetics, not even the gibus. He was just running around with his SMG out, trying to run-and-gun people to death. At one point, he picked up the briefcase (his teammate died); I was a fish Scout at the time, and I ran at him. I got him down to near-death before I died to a crit grenade. This guy then proceeded to _cap the intel._ As an _SMG sniper._ What made it even more epic is that he got the "Have a Plan" achievement for doing so, and this got him the first Sniper milestone achievement. For those who don't know (or forget), "Sniper Milestone 1" is the achievement that gives you a guaranteed huntsman drop. Seeing as he was running around with his SMG CoD-style, he clearly favored a more "up-close-and-personal" approach to Sniper; so I imagine the huntsman would be the perfect weapon for him. Besides, it probably felt pretty damn badass to capture the enemy team's intel after nearly dying to a mackerel-swinging lunatic.

this is the exact opposite effect i got for doing the exact same thing, I'm trying to build a teleporter and this pyro and scout wont leave my ass alone, and my heavy who was using the dispenser i put next to the tele, (hoping it would encourage my teammates to protect my buildings so they could heal), just flat out ignored the scout saying "i just don't feel like killing him"
However silent they may be due to their lack of free speech... We may never get the same goofs and general charm they have brought us for nearly 13 years. Long live the legacy of the Uber my good friends.
