- WORST AUTOMATED Curling Iron?!
So, today I tested out another automatic curling iron I purchased from Amazon. This tool had really great reviews, but it really let me down and didn't impress me. I've tested many automatic hair tools and unfortunately, this curling iron is my least favorite. Please let me know if you've tried this tool and what your experience was.

You're not using it right, you must twist it the whole process
Idk if I'm the only one who's noticed that whenever she uses some cheaper hair products, hair products that aren't name brand, or odd hair products she ends up not liking them or the style they give her hair. Although some of the products have actually done what they're supposed to and even left her hair looking super cute.. I've also noticed how some of the products used are meant for someone with longer hair lol....

yes agree and one thing I do not understand watching these videos', not just hers, is why do people go through all the process of curling their hair and then brush it out - rather defeats the purpose of using the tool, you can very lightly separate curls is too clumpy, but dont comb or brush it out. Also noticed she messes with her hair a lot, touching it through out the day when doing video updates, that alone takes curl out of your hair

This works better on longer hair. I just bought one a couple days ago and I love it.. my hair is long and it’s quick to use, and holds my hair well and I get great curls... I don’t think it’s for short hair I tried it on my moms hair she has the same length as yours doesn’t work. You just need longer hair for this product to work...

I like the waves it created once you brushed it. Looks soft and healthy.
I like those curls in your hair especially before you brushed it out
just keep in mind that this curler doesnt work with short hair. i keep using this tool and it last almost a year now and and the result is amazing :)
I have one and it works great on my long hair (not layered)
I know I saw that for sale on TV about 20 years ago. 😂 I got myself the Dyson hair dryer about a month ago and I love it, it's amazing. Your videos are great. 👌
I have one of these (different brand) and it works fairly well. It does take a little getting using to each time, and the curls don't last more than a day, but I do still get decent curls from it!
... are curls from a curling iron supposed to last more than one day? What an odd thing to say lol.

Wand curls, however, are a different matter entirely! Those will last in my hair for several days!
I have the Kiss version. It has another "tooth" that holds better. But I discovered it worked better when I had long hair.
I also have the Kiss one and it works a lot better than this cheap one.

I have one. When my hair was long it worked great but right now since I cut it it won’t grab the hair.
same..it will be great for long hair, for short hair i use the con air auto wireless curler. tht 1 easier for short hair.
Thanks for completing your look! My natural waves and curls tend to do this look. I agree the the tool is lacking, but maybe with a different hair part, it could look good on you.

I have the kiss instawave and love it..its one ond the only irons where my hair will hold the curl all day..i have fine thin straight hair that is usually flat before i get to the kitchen

No, that is not something I would waste money on.
I have Instawave Kiss rotating curler, which is a different version of this concept but works great. So easy and failproof. You should try it.

Honestly this works great on long hair and NOT short hair. The longer your hair, and you hair uses itself to cling to the rod.

@@michelle01872 , it is made by Hot Tools. I think she's referring to the one step brush & blow dryer. I have the Revlon One Step version & it is fantastic. Search Hot Tools & Milabu here on UA-cam & it should be the first video that pops up. She does a comparison between the Revlon, Hot Tools & Bed Head versions.

Why do you have to curl it and then brush it off?
this is a cheap knock off of the Kiss Insta-wave which works well. You have to keep finger on button entire time you are curling and it really is not made for short hair. With your face shape you look much better with your hair parted o the side
can you test the new steampod 3.0 ? i find nothing about this on youtube ( he is recent so... ) and i think you are a good person for this product ( sorry i'm french,m y vocabulary is low, i do better i can ), and he can curl/waves the hair

This is the wannabe of the KISS brand one which I have. The kISS one is much easier to use once you get the hang of it.

Lets just start by saying that I'm pretty sure that your hair would look beautiful no matter what!! I can't imagine trying to use that thing with my long, thick hair. What a nightmare!! I'd love to know how long it actually took you from start to finish?

It reminds me of that Kiss brand waver you can get at Walgreen's. I haven't tried that waver yet, but I want to. That waver has really good reviews. This one seems like a rip off of that one.

I bought one I bought the kiss 101 automatic and it totally doesn't work. And I know how to curl my hair with a 3/4 curling iron. Total disappointment. And my hair is long

You're using it wrong and I think that's why you don't like it. You need to leave the ends out of the curler and alternate forward and reverse curls *and* section size for a natural beachy look. brush. Then use fingers to put on a bit of styling creme.

No, the worst automated curling Iron I have it, the curling iron squeezed my hair so much that it stagnated with my hair and I had to cut it in order to remove it from the curling Iron!! :-( The curling Iron still has tangled hair that I could not remove!! :-(
