Love this! I spent part of my childhood on Heathfield Ave. in Franklyntown. Some of my relatives are still there. I still go back whenever I'm in Kingston. I'm glad to see some people investing in their homes one by one and making them look better. When people see better - they tend to do better.

Most of my family in Allman Town and Franklyntown became educated and/or successful. Sadly though most left the community and/or Jamaica. Even though I don't live there I don't want to sell the house(s) it is our heritage. It is part of the fabric that made us!

Jamaica has 3 Billionaires and generates Billions upon billions of dollars worldwide either directly or indirectly through sports, Dancehall & reggae music, agriculture plus much much more. Why are training programmes in the music industry such as music management, sports management , marketing, tv and video production, distribution and export etc not set up in the ghetto areas or local schools it doesnt make sense.
