1) Love the video. It is pretty much the stats I am using for last two months 2) Prefer +20% crit damage as major stat on knee pads instead of armor - armor bonus is too weak and can easily be replaced with 2 gear mods if you need it to reach armor cap. While there is no way for you to get crit damage bonus from mods. 3) With the two-items-bonus from Lone Star set (that one can use while restocking ammo) - there is no need for additional ammo bonus on backpack, so I prefer bleed/burn resistance on it.

This was definitely one of the best guide videos that I've seen for the Division. I rerolled some gear this morning based on your advise. Now I am a tanky Predator's Mark player with Final Measure of course. I think it will be a good utility/farming build for the DZ.

This is probably one of the, if not, best video to understanding build setups. I have a draft form of this, paper and pencil, prior to this video being posted. I'm currently 270k DPS and 400k toughness, Reckless, Savage, 4 Striker. PVP is same build, replacing Reckless and Savage with Final Measure, losing 25k DPS and upping toughness by 100k. I recommend this video to any new players.
I was about to quit this game because I COULD NOT, get my gear sorted out. But now I have a whole new understanding of how to do it and I'm very VERY excited to get back to the grind :)

After watching the video, I learned that my current gear isn't too bad off. If I could have gotten just a bit luckier in a couple places, I'd have the ideal gear... for a 214 set. All I need to do is replicate my current gear on a 240 set with a couple changes and I'll be good to go. Definitely adding this to my favorites, and taking notes.

Thanks a lot for this, I've been gearing up based on another short guide on reddit, which was good enough, but I ended up with around 6k skill, which is poor as hell. Thankfully I already have at least half of the stash filled with set pieces so I can try out different combinations based on this guide.
Well after taking this into consideration and throwing out the idea of a gear set for the time being, I put what I had best on and immediately busted 350K Toughness (still short on HP, but there's a mod slot to help fix that) and hit 75% armor mitigation while staying relatively good with my DPS. I'm looking to build a 4 piece predator set with 2 piece sentry. At least for PvE purposes because the massive amount of damage you can drop on them plus making them bleed for it always helps especially if they run and hide. As far as PvP, I'm still not entirely sure what to run since I'm not familiar with what seems to be the best gear set for DZ, but I think that's more on do you wanna go Rogue or not.

Vest armor,mask skill or exotic,kneepads exotic and enemy armor damage,backpack armor or skill,gloves crit hit chance or damage to elites depending on primary weapon used,holster armor. Your backpack and you kneepad choice is souly dependent on your skills used,if you're a crowded control player,turret,seeker,flash bang you want armor and exotic damage.If you run pulse or Smart Cover then you recalibrate for skill.
